I am pleasantly both surprised by his renunciation of his past position and pleased by his commitment and effort to help overcome it.

He is not redeemed, perhaps yet, but he is redeeming his negative role in leading to this situation.
Very surprising change. It's good to have someone in hsms circle who influences him in the right direction. Especially when we have mursal khaliif and aw hirsi who have been preaching nonsense in hopes of achieving their microscopic selfish desires at the expense of all Reer gedo. So yes I have been very happy when senator fartaag quickly put an end to that madness. I hope he continues to do what's right.

As they say, "jinni ninki keenaa bixiyo." :D

Fartaag by becoming Madoobe's "VP" in the beginning and at that crucial time helped birth even the false "legitimacy" accorded to Madoobe "Jubba Interim Authority" which was the foundation for the long ruse since.

Ha bixiyo jinniguu keenay bi idni laahi kariim.

MJ where used and abused by hutus to get rid of farmaajo and now it looks like they will declare open war on MJ. So we will make deals with anyone. Just as you made deals with anyone to get rid of marehan.

Nothing is wrong This is usually what happens when Maxmud Saleeban are away from their beloved PM Seat. You guys are now hated all over Somalia. And if one man, one vote were to conduct it today in Somalia, now one would vote for MJ president/PM. Y’all are highly unpopular from Awdal to Kismayo. You guys are always oppositional no matter the government, you expect preferential treatment and will use Somalia enemies to get what you want but today nothing has barred fruit since the beginning. Y’all actually made Somalis despise clan federalism. Thanks a lot!

This also has to do with the rising tensions of reer Bari having enough of shananigons from those who live in Garowe and Galkacyo. Finally, it’s a way for disgraced Deni to save face from not acting against SL for SSC and getting election money back. Imagine advocating for politicians who don’t do anything for you, but based on clan. SUBXAANALAAH!

To be honest, when Marehan works with Hawiye, it always seems to be about Marehan achieving something they want, but when Majerten works with Hawiye, it always seems to be about stopping something Marehan wants as well.

So when Marehan enters into alliance or working relationship with Hawiye, Marehan is in charge of his destiny and inevitably he commands the terms of working relationship like for example JVA or Ahlu Sunnah. Those were moments of Hawiye subscribing to something in the "interest" of a Marehan as long as they stood to gain something.

You are represented by the SSDF-USC alliance and Deni-Madasha. You switch places with Marehan-Hawiye dynamic wherein you become the one subscribing to something in the interest of Hawiye as long as you stood to gain something (given history almost always predicated on anti-Marehan reactionarism).

That is why 1991 happens after SSDF-USC and the last 7 months happened after Deni-Madasha.

But when we are in a deal, we preside over the terms of contract and when the contract has reached the end of term, it is amicably and even irrelevantly dissolved amicably.

HSM didn't "rule" Marehan as of 24 hours ago. It was just last week when he as President of Somalia failed to compel a change of administration in GEDO REGION, one of Somalia's 18 regions mind you not 4 or whatever Federal States. He didn't have that authority over Marehan. HSM didn't have the authority to "rule" a Marehan village let alone even a town exemplified by the failure of his NISA head to fly to Dollow.

HSM, as the subject of the topic says, has signalled a "change" in his position. He is the one coming around to subscribe to the Marehan position not the other way.

And quite extraordinarily, in a post showing just how much of a change in support of the Marehan position HSM is exhibiting by carrying out a demand from Gedo Region namely to stop Mogadishu airport from transiting Madoobe officials attempting to travel to Gedo Region, you ask "so would you rather be ruled by HSM than JL Admin."

Are you logical or rational thinking?

FOCK THE JL ADMIN. FOCK THEM. THEY ARE MY #1 PROBLEM. MY FOCKING PROBLEM WITH HSM WAS EVEN GETTING IN THE MIDDLE OF US TO TAKE THEIR SIDE.

Is this the twilight zone? I don't get it. What kind of question is that?

Maybe it was a Freudian slip...

[quote=grandpakhalif post_id=5037163 time=1673462817 user_id=154071] but when Majerten works with Hawiye, it always seems to be about stopping something Marehan wants as well.

This statement here caught my eye why? I heard some Oday saying this a while back, that MJ’s enduring national political doctrine is basically at all costs try to keep a MX Gov/Official out of power even if it means you will gain nothing in return. It’s not even competition in terms of they want that same seat it’s anybody but them. So that’s the end game full stop of their relationship with Hawiye. With Mx it’s more mutual interest scenarios.

In politics there’s no permanent friends or enemies. If HSM is not doing anything at the moment adversarial to MX interests why oppose him? Wallahi I’d work with him any day over a Deni.
