Djibouti and Somaliland will never be United.
Different cultures and different mentalities.
We only have three options, seeking recognition , joining Djibouti , or joining Ethiopia. I prefer Ethiopia over Djibouti because they are more willing to accept us, joining one of the biggest economies in Africa is a blessing. Taking a leave from Crimea annexation is good justification for Ethiopia to take over somaliland even if Somalia protests. Qadaadweyntuba sawaaxiligay Ku biirayan. Hada kadib we should be open minded to discuss our future. Sticking to one goal is not good strategy. And Somalis will never agree to release us.
Ethiopia is an authoritarian, freedom hating cesspit.
It’s 100x worse than Afweyne’s regime.

No free enterprising, no free speech/media, no democracy or elections, no tolerance and a heavy burdensome centralised state.

There’s nothing worse.

As for Djibouti - It’s the same as Ethiopia except not as extreme. The Ciise are not friends sxb.

Why do you think the Habar Awal and Samaroon population of
Djibouti has collapsed over the last 30 years?
Slowly slowly they’ve made life difficult.
Take it from someone who was born in Djibouti.
I think Ethiopia system is not bad at all , democracy is not good for any country with a tribalism problem. The one party system suits them very well. Ethiopia is democractic enough that each of it's tribes run their own state. The most important thing about Ethiopia is the economy, it's huge . Getting access to the Ocean is a dream come true for them. So they won't even hesitate to accept our demands.

With Djibouti we are not gaining that much , but it's way better than being unrecognised entity. And it's way more difficult join them compare to Ethiopia. We can even play against each other if we need. Djibouti will be mad if they realise that we are joining Ethiopia, they have a lot to loose. If we are smart this policy alone can bring every one to our knees. At least we have learned something from the qurjiiles , we have learned how to sell your self cleverly

The glorious blue revolution in Lascaanood has changed things forever. Its the Somali equivalent of the Berlin Wall coming down.

The pandoras' box has been opened, the ship sailed.
Nothing will ever be the same again in SL.
Instead of denying this obvious reality you should accept it and act accordingly.
Indeed nothing will ever be the same and we sailed further away from somalia. Our only weakness was you . Baadida ninbaa kula daydaya daalna kaa badane oo aan doonahayn inaad heshaan daayin Abid. Habarteed bay Ka tahay inaanu dhulmahante wax danbe naga sii dhexeeyan. That's the popular opinion of all isaaqs. The only problem is the constitution that makes you one of us , and the government apply that constitution on both of us , even though we hate each an other. I advise you to kill ina kaahin , Do what ever that can accelerate our indefinite separation.

I am just expressing that we have so many options to choose from. We may not join any one. But those are options we have in case we need. Our investment should be diverse , if we only stick to one thing we gonna fail .

I think what yusuf means is that the xabashi are looking to follow Chinese model but the problem is China is 90% Han Chinese with single history, identity, struggle etc while Ethiopia has 3 major groups fighting for power (amhara, Tigray and oromo) who are different ethnically and religiously and have different languages.

I personally think Ethiopia will never be like China since they have too much internal conflict, they are bound to be a bigger version of Eritrea

TheYusef........stop being emotional.
Even if there is a war nothing much will change on the ground. You'll still be in Caynaba and we in Lascaanood.
The reer badiye will still graze their camels alongside each other as they have done for centuries.

The only real change will be politically.
SL will be forced to adopt a new political strategy .
The strategy you've been clinging to for 30 years has reached a dead end.

As the saying goes, it takes two to tango. Who is the willing partner from Djibouti sitting at the other end of the table, negotiating on our behalf, 🤔? Ileen IOG ku waari maayo kursiga.

the cagder nigga calling himself jabutawi is right. if i'm issa why would i share djibouti recognition wit somaliland?

the way we get recognition is to get our hands dirty in the ex italian colony. the dirty wuqoyi idoor pretending to be dir. should be our informal lobbyists. the tribes n militias fighting against each other in the ex italian colony. we work wit the friendlies against the enemy militias. we gotta recognize tha the ex italian colony is a playground. for kenya. ethopia. even djibouti. we gotta play in that field.

oor wait for our enemies to take over their federal government. then all out war between somaliland n somalia. back to '91. 1 thing we gotta stop doing is the weak nonintervention policy. they break the aispace deal. somaliland? no response. steal our hajj seats. stilll no response. we gotta do somthing. get our hands dirty in that political h**e house known as the ex federal government of the ex italian colony

Ciise in Djibouti can have the presidency whilst Isaaq in Somaliland has both the premiership and the capital city

Neither Afar nor Gadabursi have any say

We can't share anything with you . Simply because we don't share any common interests at all . The best we can do for our future generation is to atleast demarcate the border between us . Let's take our separate ways peacefully.

Once again I publicly call for Somaliland and Djibouti to form a loose Bosnia style federation in which each of the two states has the constitutional right to secede. Only by uniting in such a voluntary federal union can both Somaliland and Djibouti protect their independence and borders from both outside threats (Ethiopia and Zoomalia) and internal threats (Afar, Gadabursi, Harti). Isaaq iyo Ciise waa mataano
