So in recent years Marehan political organization in central Somalia has been this;

1. Galmudug
   • Waaxda Bah-Ogaden
     • Base: Cabudwaaq
   • Waaxda Bah-Hawiye
     • Base: Balanbale
   • Waaxda-Ilma Adeer
     • Base: Cabudwaaq
   • Waaxda Wagardhac/Reer Wardheere-led
     • Base: Dhabad
2. Puntland
   • Waaxda Wagardhac/Reer Gediid-led
     • Base: Saaxo

Now Waaxda Wagardhac/Reer Wardheere-led section in Dhabad is saying concerning even "discussion" of Mahad Salaad as Galmudug "leader" that they will outright renounce Galmudug and apply to join Puntland following Waaxda Wagardhac/Reer Gediid-led in Saaxo which has been a constituent part of Puntland for sometime now. This goes with saying Puntland has been looking "attractive" for some time now with Marehan Mudug closely having been watching the positive experience of Saaxo in Puntland in the recent past.

If Wagardhac goes, the rest of Marehan Mudug will follow. You can take that to the bank!

In fact, I am sure Waaxda Bah-Hawiye of Balanbale will probably renounce Galmudug faster than Waaxda Wagardhac and Dhabad if Culusoow Gov ever thinks Mahad Salaad is a viable choice for inserting into Galmudug!

Then we will see if there is even a "relevant" Galmudug that can even sit in front of the other federal states as 3 basic districts of Hobyo, Dhuusamareeb, and Cadaado.

If northern Mudug was incorporated into Galmudug rather than be part of Puntland, we may very well see Galmudug become the 3rd Darod ruled FMS in Somalia along with PL & JL states. Isn't this just common sense for Jebertis to unify Mudug region under Galmudug state!!
