Good riddance, next step is to centralize Ethiopia further and in particular it's high time the so called Somali region should be dismantled into 5 or more clan regions each firmly under the control of the federal government in Addis

It's in the best interest of Somaliland that our two neighbours Ethiopia and Somalia each abolish federalism and instead as unitary states is ruled by Amhara and Hawiye respectively

Keep crying, Hawiye will abolish Puntland and will directly rule you from Mogadishu....with Somaliland's support of course

Bye bye federalism

Let’s be real there is no such thing as ‘Somali’ region. Every clan in Galbeed is for themselves. Cisse, Gedobursi, OG, MX, MJ, Isaaq, etc all view themselves as their own fiefdoms. Ethiopia should dissolve ‘Somali’ state and just administer directly from Addis.
multiple states would be much better

What if the Somalis reconcile with one another and agree to pursue their mutual interests within Ethiopia?

Is reconciliation only acceptable or encouraged when it’s a Darod running the show or it benefits Darod interests. Why don’t you show that same pragmatism when it comes to working with Somaliland. Instead you swear jihaad and threaten to delete us.

The world does not work like that OD. If you my enemy I’m gonna stay consistent, and if you my friend I’m gonna stay consistent. What you can’t do however is pick and choose when it suits your needs. Everybody will catch on with those tactics.

No offense but sometimes you sound very delusional. At some after 40 years do you not realize a situation is what it is? What makes you think Somalis will reconcile. A Somali’s worst enemy is, and will always be another Somali in their minds.

We need more chartered cities and ownership at the local level. Only Dire Dawa and Harar are chartered areas with a Somali population. Break the state into 3 or 4 compliant regions with their own macaawisley, another NFD with elected senators and district governors. The ENDF will want to neutralise the previous policy where some liyuu were lahayste and their families were threatened with ransoms and taxes if they don't conscript their sons. Which means there were some half decent soldiers in the mix. Now with a mixed ethnic federal police in all the regions it will weaken ethnic conflict and promote assimilation at a faster rate. Chartership is needed.

Jaarso is very very important for us, we have to support them join Oromia. In any possible way we can . We should supply them with more ammunition and small arms , before the ENDF take over the place. The cagdheer will keep their weapons because most of them are not interested to join the ENDF they would rather join Axmed madoobe. Lot's of small arms my end up at the hands of Geri koonbe, Jaarso needs to stockpile enough weapons to defend themselves. And they should hide their weapons from the government.

The thing with Liyuu police was that the Ogadan themselves are celebrating this since majority of their victims were Ogadan example like ONLF mujahideen and other Ogaden's who supported ONLF civilians or not. They were curse to Ogaden's themselves. There are stories of 10000's torture cases in jails and they were Ogaden Mujahideen opposition inhumane treatments. The people who celebrate this most are Ogaden

After the liyu police joined the conflict in Somaliland against Ethiopian national interest, their days were numbered. You can’t attack the chosen Somali people and not expect blow back. Now look at all the actors. The majerteen are dying people the 1000’s with majority locked in Burco including MP’s. The Dhulbahnte are refugees all over the horn as homeless refugees. They are holed up in las anood using the city as cover. Finally the Cagdheer has had its leash pulled and slapped. They have lost what little power they had.

Only they Marexaan have come out with a net positive but with all the liyu police arms heading towards Jubbaland. They won’t be laughing

This is excellent news from Marexaan, we can now deploy our heavy weapons accross the Ceel Habreed quarter and finally secure our deegans without Liyuu Boolis interference.
