Murax is the grandson of a Judge who held authority over a Jurisdiction in Somalia bigger than Nugaal or Awdal regions, he is the nephew of a political leader who held one of the top #2 executive positions in Somalia's government, he is also the nephew of one of the most educated, interviewed, respected female Somalia analysts in the world, and he happens to be the 1st cousin and future uncle of men who will become the highest traditional chiefs ("Kings") of one of the largest and most powerful Somali clans. With that disclaimer, I believe the amateur genetic testing discussions and results may possibly implicate that yes both Berber, North Africa and Nilo-Saharan or Sahel belt has seeped into Somalis and in fact may be the origins of some of us starting at the time since Imam Gureey and the conquest of Abyssinia

It is my assumption that the genetic results may indicate the SHEEKHAAL are in fact deacendents of Muslim, North African BERBERS who came to support imam Ahmed :Gureey's war against Ethiopia.

And that the T Somalis, particularly of the Dir, are deacendents of wondering Saharan Sufi xer called FUQURA (the Fiqis or Learned Ones) who extend from central Sudan to Chad like the Toubou

Because of this AUTOSOMAL component of the testing, even the Dir T and Sheekhaal Berber descent will show up as 100% Somali.
