I condemn the injury and harm that befell the Isaaq citizens of Somalia in the 1980's at the hands of the Kacaan unequivocally and without any hesitation or reservation. Nothing justified it.

You missed my point totally Gubbet. You can judge man based on his tribe or his deeds.

You cannot absolve the wrong of Somaliland and there have been errors and you cannot absolve the wrongs of Dhulbahnte.

Now we Isaaq were bombed into the Middle Ages by a leader who hails from your particular tribe. When we came out victorious from that conflict. We did not kill or inflict any medieval acts on men who hail from your tribe. Your soldiers leaders left our lands unharmed and with full property. This is a fact.

Now if the Dhulbahnte after storming Goojacade had displayed the same graciousness. I for one would not hold them culpable for them choosing to go a different path. Infact I would support them. However, they decided to share with us hatred that we had over come. Now for that reason it’s impossible for us not to seek revenge. we cannot be victims at every given situation because we are nice people.
