No no I didn't say abolish federalism itself but the ethnic based version of federalism should be replaced by a geographic based federalism. Ethiopia should be divided into a number of provinces that are all multiethnic and that every province should be named after its biggest city or town. No province should be allowed to have its own flag or anthem

SO you want people of different religions, culture and races to coalesce into something with no identity or roots, which would mean somalis ceasing to exist as an ethnic group. You are some weird bent character.

Somalis in Ethiopia don't border gaals, only fellow Muslims eg Oromos and Afars so nobody is gonna lose their religion and why would you say we'd lose our ethnicity too, that's a stupid thing to say when most African countries are multiethnic and see its citizens maintain their ethnic identity even by avoiding making politics and regions based on ethnicity.....look at Kenya they don't have ethnic based devolution and they don't have a Kenyan version of DDSI but Somalis there still keep their identity so why not Ethiopia mahor you doqon?

Except for this it doesnt work the same way in Kenya because it's a democracy and doesnt have the grim history of massacres, forcing assimilation and population transfers. Secondly the arguments for diverse provinces sounds a dogwhistle for diluting ppl's culture and attempting to kill native languages and enforcing a standard like amharic.

No other race of men will respect the person who runs away from his own race to become the appendage of another man's race, creed or ethnicity.

Such is the decent into sickness and tribalism that the iidoors will open advocate to become midgaans to the Amhara rather than accept their fellow Somalis.
