QansaGabeyle, that's a myth. You can live without meat. Malaay and/or fruits/vegetables is better than red meat.

I never said you couldnt live without meat but that you will eventually become dhaandhaan without meat. By the way, malaay is meat, isnt it? Maxaa meat ukala saaree. Personally I love red meat but hilibka digaaga aa kasii jeclahay!

QansaGabeyle, well, I meant you won't become dhaandhaan if you stop eating meat for any time. There's a huge difference between malaay and hilib. One of the definitions of "meat" is:

The edible flesh of animals, especially that of mammals as opposed to that of fish or poultry.

I am vegetarian, around 4 years I haven't ate meat including fish. I just disgusted killing poor animals and eat them. Instead of the meat I eat beans and vitamins.
