I will just give you one little advice.

Do not recomend any chick with this stuff. It is very dangerous.

If you want to avoid those chicks that use these stuff, just check their hands. If the lines in the hands are very dark but she looks light skinned for sure she used the stuff. Also as you mentioned the knukles is also a place to check. Also look very closely where the hand(Calaacasha) blends with the dark skin if they blend in smoothly then she did not use the stuff but if there is a border then she uses it.

It is their bussiness if they want to bleach themselves, but it annoys me when someone I knew acts as if they are born with that colour.
