Caydid
this is where the differance in political culture comes.
We already had 2 civil wars, thousends were killed.
Yet we made peace ourselves , our own way, with no foriegn help or interferance.
Inshallah we would continue this way in the future.
and Caydiid you are using emotional terms like love and hate.
When its a security issue.
Basicaly there is no trust.
what is there to gaurentee that there will not be another millitary dictatorship, no Siad Barre

Assalamu calaykum Gurey,
Let me tell the problem of Africa my friend; goverment. I mean a recognised government. Once that is achieved, dollars begin powering in; The good leaders become greedy, corruption prevails; tribalism rises and bhang!
Not that I am hoping that would happen- but that is the question avoided by proponents.
No, I am not emotional. I have been looking for a rational reason why somaliland should seek independence from their own folk- and believe me everytime I think about that I am worried about what that entails.
On the contrary I find your arguments to be based on emotions- the prevailing norm amongst the somalilanders. Critics are silenced. It is about singing the well rehearsed INDEPENDENCE gospel.

Our government is already fantasticaly corrupt, on the scale of african nations.
But what i want to know is what does this have to do with unity with the south?
are you saying that a united somalia will not be corrupt?, and will be economically advantagous for somaliland?
i find that luaghable

Gurey, this is not a laughable matter bro. This is the root cause of somalia's problem
It all started with corruption, greed and singing the same tune. It has everything to do with unity because many think that come independence somaliland would be a paradise (Don't tell me that somaliland wants a divorce to make sure its people are not massacred!).
Habeen wanaagsan and please let us use our brains free from "emotions2. let us have a healthy debate and abandon collective thoughts that are implanted into our cells.

Is this Caydid man sick or wat? He said:
"You asked what reponsibility and what captaincy? I though a person of your intelligence- I say that in a positive spirit knows what I meant. The people of somaliland were pioneers as far as development was concerned. It was their will and intelligence which made somalia to unite....."
When A/Tuur(RIP) was PM to Aydid in Muqdsiho. The Hawiye ran to replace him with Juniour Aydid rather the proper way
So, we will see where me me me me will take the two parts who stupidly joined looking for "Somali Republic". If these donkeys think "Somali Republic" meant "Wanlaweyn Republic", then .........
