Yes, the fuccin Isaaqs in Ceerigaabo do the dance with us!.

But you know, we introduced that shitt to them!.
That dance is GREAT, and it takes alot of coordination, agility, and team work!. People surround the dancers, and start clapping slowly. The dancers in the middle go around in circles using hop steps, while a designated singer sings some traditional reer miyi song. The man stops singing, and all hell breaks loose!. The clapping intensifies, and the men start to spin very fast on one leg, with the other leg off the ground at a 45 degree angle.
Some men just spin, but there are others ( this one is my favorite ) who would lift their right leg up and spin 180 degrees, ( some 360 degrees, depending on how agile they are ) to stomp on the ground, and then would immediately lift their left leg up and spin 180, 360 the other direction in amazing speeds!. They continue to do this process for about 30 seconds, till the clapping intensifies to a maximum level, and the climax is reached by one final big clap, while the dancers stomp on the ground very hard for one final time, coordinating their final stomp with the final clap to produce one final deafening sound!!.
Now, keep in mind that all the men are wearing Macawis. None of the dancers wears pants, because the Macawis makes the dance look better!.
In my humble opinion, that dance is the best dance in the world!!. DAMN I LOVE IT!!. I gotta learn it to perfection inshaa Allaah, but there is one slight problem!. I'm not known for my agility, and by the time I'm done with one spin, the reer miyi dudes would have already performed about 5 "spins"!. Ama look like I'm on slow motion while the other dudes are on fast forward!.

I have a video Tape of some dudes in Ceerigaabo doing this dance, and there's even this big booty Xaliimo who joins them at the end of the dance!.

But me being the computer illiterate I am, I don't know how to put it on the net!.

Your Dhulbahante Grandmother grew up in the Hawd/South Togdheer area, and they don't perform this dance. This dance is widely known as Ciyaar Ceerigaabo, and it's practised from Ceerigaabo to Xudun in north Sool.
Have you ever hear of the Kabeebey dance?. It's a beatiful dance practised by the Abgaals I think.

Yes, I've seen them do the Saylici dance, But I mostly liked that Baraanbur song, "Si'aay Si'aay, Si'aay Samaroon"!, which the ladies danced to.
See if you could ask your relatives about the Si'aay Samaroon song and dance.
