"We should collectively abhor all kinds of abuse from the government regardless of their tribe....."
I wouldn't loose sleep over the corrupt being hanged in Hargeysa, trust me.
"What I find offensive and disgusting is when someone justifies the horrors that are happening in our country or those that had happened in our country..."
by saying the former regime is better than anarchy you are justifiying the horrors of the past.
Kambuli, its better to die on your feet than live on your knees. Anything is better than a government which does not value its citizens.

Why do Qaldans like to wail at every given opportunity? Qof la dhaafi maa jiro? We all tasted the poisons of corrupted government and anarchist wolves but we are not crying our eyes like a broken record. Stop the sissyness and put your acts together like real men. Waa nala tumi, waa nala dili leey ku hayaan meehii tagtidbo, ar kuwaan ya wax yeeli jiri

I just don't give a dime if you twist my words here and there....
quote" I wouldn't loose sleep over the corrupt being hanged in Hargeysa, trust me."
Tell me one corruption you even condemned? On the contrary if someone mentions any thing about Hargeysa Regime you defend no matter what..just like a typical Somali... Right or Wrong you support them...
Tell me where in the world is said that ANARCHY is better than a government? Even the worst government
Just tell me one...And I am sure that Somalia was better off when there was a government.

Gurey, very good read man thanks for the article
Samatr, for how many more years to come are you going to play the victim card? under that goverment a large number of people suffered indivitually or collectively, yes its regrettable some had to go through more than the others and forthrightly those that you hold accountable for your maltreatment and your loses might have went through a great deal of callous treatment than your folk (i could be wrong) and you don't see them mourning or wanting others to sypathtice with them
sh.it went down in somali, people lost lifes from all sides, the sooner we can become conscious of that and value the lifes we have now rather than living in what went before, the better prospect we have for not letting that happen ever again...absolution is a vital input to a good health
whatever went down did went down and all somalis had part in it, there is no one to hold responsible but us all so what we need to do is fail to remember the past and move on or we will constantly be having difficulties
Abdi, your folk did more larceny than anyother group in somali that's if we are want to be ingenuous marka abtii i don't think you are in any position to pin down others in that manner
no offence guys; just my saying my piece

How old are you? I know you hate when someone tells you the truth, but for Godssake, stop the sissyness and put your acts together and talk like a man for once. You are looking for sympathy in the wrong places, every Somali clan that was wronged, put their shitt together, forgot about what happened and dealt with it like a real man, but you, you like crying like a little b!tch who lost the d!ck halfway to her climax

Samatr,
Actually ismaba fahmi karno... Aniguna Somalia dal la odhan jirey ayaan ka hadlayaa adna in kooban baad ka hadlaysaa... Somaalia waa dal balaadhan... .
Ta Puntlandna sida aad haddeer hadalka u twist gareeneysid ayuumbaad u twist garaysey.. You read what is in your mind not what the person writes...
Waxa uurka kaaga jira ayuumbey kuula ekataa waxa ay dadku qoraan... Ilaa goorma? Nin yahow qalbiga wanaag u sheeg...
And the other sad case is; You assume someone's tribe and then you base all your argument on that assumption... Waa waxaad ii lahayd waad raaxaysanaysey... Ilaahow yaa labadeenaba ina ogaada....Tell me Xamar maxaad ka qabanaysey? Ma waxaad ahayd kuwii ku raaxaysanayey?

man Samatr, u makin it sound like ppl wanted to terrorize Isaaqs just cuz they are Isaaqs
dictatoriship or not, there was a govt that wanted 2 maintain law n order and the fact is the whole purpose SNM was made in London was to overthrown the government and they were using places like Hargeisa as operation fields n b/c of clan reasons they got sympahty over there
bombing a city was definitely not right and I think it was wrong no matter what, but SNM put the govt in a very bad position by trying to create anarchy in those cities by overthrowing the government
the only qabiil that Siad Barre would prefer is the qabiil that was not trying to overthrow him.......it was nothing personal, it was just a dictatorship
what do you think will happen a Isaaq sub-clan now if they take up arms against the s-land govt. Don't you think the govt will try to stop that?

Qaasim said it best in 1991 after the fall of afweyne and his regime
Diiftii Ilaah nooga ray dakharadeediiye
Waxa Duumadii noo beddelay doogsin caano lehe
Dabayl Caafimaad iyo Xorriyad loo durbaan tumaye
Waakaa dadkii soo hormaday doobadka ahaaye
Danabbaa u kacay guushu waa lagama daalaane
Haddaan loo dagaallamin xorriyad lama dabbaasheene
Daandaansigii Faqash raggii diidey ka adkaaye
Nimankii is damalloolin jirey dacar la leefsiiye
Derejooyin been ah yaa garbaha loogu daabacaye
Diidiga markii laysla galay Daab ma soo roganne
Kuwii Shaarubaha duubi jirey daadshe qalabkiiye
Digtii horeba waatay baqaha docaha jiidheene
Odaygii dalqada weyn lahaa derejadii xoorye
Daandaan Tumaalkii markii laysu daadsadaye
Wax la yidhi ma daaficine wuu sii dabayshadaye
Laamuu ka degey baa la yidhi Doon intuu koray'e
Isagiyo Dafleba meesha way dacal banneeyeene
Dabatadiyo ways kaashadeen nimanki Daaroode
Degdeg bay dhulkii uga baxeen duhur dharaareede
Alla doori waa waxan lahayn dir ay ku dhaataane
Dad hadday yihiin sida Riyaha looma didiyeene
Dalan-doolki Nayroobi bay dalaq yidhaahdeene
Dal la'aani waw kow dhul ay dib ugu laabtaane
Debedaha ha meereen illeen diide nabaddiiye

i think you are falling for your politician's propoganda
you don't have a problem with a government, because that government fell, you have a problem with Somalis but I know if Isaaq was president you would have no problem with Somalia
and it is not right to exclude SNM from the blame because they were trying to create environment of anarchy they got help from somalia's enemy to attack and kill the army and then go back to the city that was not a smart thing to do for the sake of the people
and then you elect a member of the dictator goverment to be your president
