gurey there is no nostalgia for illegal power and if those ppl who opposed the govt overthrew the govt and made peace and stability they would be considered heros but everyone had their own agenda
since they have some autonomy now why didn't they stay autonomous and offer to join somalia on favorable & fair terms, why this rush to totally run away from anything somali? they could have even got the top positions if they bargained properly.
ok so hargeisa was not built except for british infrastructure, that is the same for all of somalia. 3rd world spending is mainly on the capital
have you seen gedo, where marehan live? it is the most undeveloped in all of somalia so you can't say there was preferential treatment it was a poor country
listen somalis are weaker without unity and ethiopia will exploit that so there will always be conflicts if somalis dont unite what do you mean 'mutual interest' amxaaros consider you their slaves and I can bring Emperor Menelik quotes that prove that sentiment
there are so many other choices other than splitting....like regional rule and federation where the local ppl elect their leaders and taxes collected are spent in the region......but permanently dividing somalia only directly serves the interests of somalias enemies
