Samtr unfortunatley thats not likely to happen.
The constitution is faulty and allows too much leaway for the president,
it is impossible for the ruling party UDUB to lose.
and you have seen how tame and domesticated the parlaiment can be,
i believe we will see more of the same for the next few years.

we need someone like Mujaahid Silaanyo or another former SNM strong man, you would not have people pulling stupid stunts if people like that were in charge, there would be no question where the SL borders are.

anyways to me as an outsider looking in it seems like habar-yoonis have been marginlized in somaliland politics ever since ina-tuur lost the inter-isaaq war but i could be wrong

Faisal Waraabe an Ciidagale-Garxajis is the head man of UCID, a majority HY support him. I think SL needs someone like Silaanyo to clean house.

somaliland political parties get support from all the different clans

all 3 parties have members and recieved votes from all the other clans.
ofcourse some clans lean towrds certain parties.

Somali galbeed is for everyone, business is business it has nothing to do with qabiil.
its only a matter of time till Mujaahid Silaanyo takes power and cleans house, till then SL can do whatever it wants.

There are laws and culture that needs to be respected. And you have to realize, if the Ogaden businessman can't be safe in Hargeysa, then the Isaaq man can't be save in Ogaden land. Very simple formula. Shocked

When you are talking about compensation about the burned trucks be fair and also talk about the compensation of the jailed people.. for years and years. Be realistic and be fair. Surprised

It is my strong belief that Somalis need each other and no tribe can force the other tribe. Somalis can solve their problems with dialogue and mutual respect from all sides. Smile

This is not good news by any means. I view it as more-n-more appease the minority and non-Isaaq approach the so-called Somaliland administration embraced and made sacred policy. The ex-SNM mujaahid Isaaqman shot in Ceerigaabo to appease the faqash elements in Hargiesa. And now this, more than 60 trucks loaded with goods destined for Kililka shanaad burnt by Ogaadeen thugs of the ONLF with the drivers of several trucks held as hostages and what does the Somaliland mafia do, they freed the ONLF in Hargiesa Shocked

Kambuuli is happy because the freed thugs are her family, faqash reminants of the old regime.

Kambuli you want fair, Ogadens arent the only ones that live galbeed. Since they burned our trucks and people we should burn them too, what a crazy logic you follow. If we are to follow that logic, Isaaqs are way behind in the genocide game Somalis like to play.
