Shia recognize 12 imams as their ultimatum leaders after our prophet Mohamed pbuh, beginning with Ali and ending to the 12th who would be Mahdi (messiah).
(just in case ayatuallah Khomeini is not part of the imams).

Mahdi would come soon (maybe within our life time or just a couple of years later) and would lead the Islamic ummah to war and worship to Allah.
The era of Mahdi would be the same era as the antichrist (according to Christian) or dijaal according to muslim and jesus (or Issa).

Issa and Mahdi would pray together according to Islamic fiiq and issa would lead the mahdi and his companions in prayers.

The stupid shi'a believe that imam mahdi is hiding inside a cave below a mosque in Samarra for the past 1138 years. He has been in hiding since the age of 7, imagine the brave “shia” imam hiding how is he to lead an army against oppression? I guess the shi’as out did the Christians, Jesus was “dead” in the cave for three days and then came back to life while the shi’a imam has been alive inside a cave for over a thousand years waiting to pop out of the cave.

I think it's more than shameful. They curse the most beloved people to Prophet (saws): Aaisha, Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthmaan and they have all these crazy beliefs about those 12 imams who have divine powers (isatqfirullah) and of course, Mahdi was hiding in a cave for the last 1138 years like was mentioned here.

Check out this fatwa from Khomeini: A man can have sex with animals such as sheeps, cows, camels and so on. However he should kill the animal after he has his orgasm. He should not sell the meat to the people in his own village, however selling the meat to the next door village should be fine.

So next time when a shii'a-man from neighbour village comes to sell meat you better fast that day.

From my knowledge the Mahdi will:

Come from Medina and will be first spotted in the Haram Mosque in Mecca
He looks like the Prophet (scw) and has his name
He will unite the Muslims and defeat the kufaars
He will come during a time when injustice, tyranny, opression and violence prevails (like right now i guess unless things get worse)
He will rule the Muslims till Issa (Jesus) (AS) comes back.
Jesus will pray behind him
