Lion,
It does not hurt to look closely into our Quran...There are so many things that are ignored about religion... Some people specially men tend to adapt Islam to their preference. e.g. Allaah SWT says in his Aaya about the men who wants to marry more than one wife " Wa In Khiftum Allaa Tacdiluu Fawaaxidata " Does anyone even consider that? No.. So our society choose to ignore some of the Aaya's and stress some...
For example. I have heard that the Girl has the right to mention during her meher that she would not accept to share her husband with another wife
We just heard very recently... It was always kept from women...
Nothing is wrong to understand more into our religion...

........ praying 5 times is better for your body than yoga. And fasting is like detox if you eat the right foods……………..so it’s very good for your body.
Just because I consider all aspects of my diin and have my own opinions don’t mean I’m not a believer or I am not a good Muslim. Allah shows so much mercy and forgiveness for those who wrong him why can’t Muslims do the same? That is why I don’t believe in capital punishment- because it should be last resort and because we are all sinners. I believe in justice and fairness, like the quran teaches.
Intellex, where in the quran does it say, men should be allowed to marry a kafir and women shouldn’t? There is a lesson to be learnt from every iya, parable and commandment. Some people obviously only see their own preconceived prejudices.

San Dheer...Walaal, every1 is entitled to their opinion. What bothers me is when people claim to be a Muslim yet hold opinion that are 100% opposed to Islam. You can have opinions about stuff like at what speed should cars drive. But don't try to correct the Deen and address things already explicitly covered by the Qur'an and Ahadiith.
FYI: Capital punishment in Islam is used as a last resort. For example, when some1 kills another person, if the victims family forives him and the killer pays blood-money, they don't have be executed.
I didn't question your Islam but you just come across as some1 who looks like on some of our traditions..Like intellex said, what does chauvanism have to do with what i said?
