you just concluded from my name that I'm a qabiilist, but I never said anything that can be construed as qabiilist.
obviosly if you talk about clan politics clan comes to play, but when you say someone is qabiilist that means they harbor a special prejudice about a certain qabiil and I would like for you to find that in anything I said.
don't confuse that with saying: "Your qabiil did this or that at some particular time"
why Somalis scare from being called qabili? here we feel proud to be called qabili. Qabili means you have asal wa fasal and not like those from the city, we don't know them any roots. I think Arabic speakers will understand me.
Gurey,
I need your help here to explain what i mean to your follow somalis.

The rebel..allot of somalis mistakenly believe that all the evil that befell us , comes from qabiil, and hence they believe it has negative conotations. It is like a neo nazi getting upset when you call him a racist, Somalis are qabiilists. I am a prous qabiilist, if you are not qabiilist you are not really somali.
When we embrace our qabiilism and deal with it, then somalis can move forward, but alss as you noticed most people on this website wont get it, and to them i would appear to be talking crap.
