The execuation seems harsh but people should bear in mind that it is the law of Allah, so following Gods laws would benefit the somali people greatly. Also the guy who was executed had commited a serious evil deed by killing an innocent man.

Having thusands of people in xamar witness this act of justice is a good deterent to other criminals and murders.
So may Allah help and support the islamic court which is the only hope for the people of xamar and may Allah bless them and make their life easy ameen.

I agree, I dont understand why some of you are feeling sorry for him, as if he was the victim. He commited an evil act and he paid the price

As long we dont know the motief. its logical that some of you are feeling sorry for him. Beenaale_No1 what do u know if the guy was sex/abused by this teacher?.If the teacher had done something terrible by this boy? Confused commiting a murder is Haram ofcourse but we should know the motief before we can say the victim was innocent man.

I understand this is the law of Islam BUT YOU CAN’T PICK AND CHOOSE. You either have to be consistent in carrying out executions or you don’t do it. There is millions of murderer on the streets of Mogadishu including the warlords and those so-called WADDAO know them personally by their names. I grantee you the murderer that was executed yesterday in Mogadishu wasn’t from one of the main clans nor did he had the wealth to buy himself out. That is how f.ucking twisted this whole thing is.

My other question is, why not have some professionals do the execution instead of a child. I thought sword should be used and the person must decapitated not stabbed in the neck and the heart like some animal. Yes even murderer have to die with dignity in ISLAM. I don’t think this was done properly.

Bravo Dhego. I couldn't have said it better. The whole of Mogadishu is teaming with murderers, why is this one picked out of thousands? He looks like a Somali Bantu, is it because he is from a weak clan? Besides the country hasn't implemented a total Shariica that applies to each and every individual, it's for the weak and the defenseless and that is misusing it, they have become like the Saudi regime.

yeah i agree with u with that point about having someone else hired by the islamic court to carry out the execuation but u must bear in mind that the islamic courts wish to shock the would be criminals in xamar by carrying out justice is such as drastic way.

Someone else also pointed out how we were not told the motive of the murderer and why were not the other evil warlords or milita men walking abt xamar have not been executed yet.

Well the motive was reported to have been a dispute between the victim and the murderer about the education of the mohammed (son of the victim)

The islamic courts do make the odd mistakes now and then but overall they are a good force who seek to help the somali people. They have many charity organisations and the places they are based has low crime and anarchy.

For u somali people to attack the islamic courts is totally disgusiting, while u somali people do or say very little about the evil warlords, u focus ur attacks on the islamic courts who try to bring order and peace to the most dangerous city in the world

Yes, what they did was very extreme but u people must relise that the enviroment they live at isn also harsh and extreme. Its a place were thugs and criminals are armed to the teeth, its a place were many live in fear.

The islamic courts have some bad elements but i tell u people this that the good elements entirely outweigh the bad.

Why do u people desire whats bad and reject whats good, could it be that u have gone so far from the path of God and the religion of islam has become alien to u?

Truly we live in a difficult time where the religion has become strange to muslims.

I hope that the islamic courts gain strength after strength each day, repelling abd expelling the warlords from somalia, ameen.

i agree with most people here, this is cruel and focking barbaric, the man was found guilty and sentence to death, nothing wrong with that, but publicly executing him like this and making a show out of is just wrong. someone needs to stop these stupid supremacist cawords who are positioning themselves in power in the name of Islam to carry out things like this, i mean it. we've all seen this happen in Kabul, what's next in Mogadishu? women beaten in the streets and left to beg for survival? male kids sent to schools while the girls are given to men four times these age to be wives? this is bullsh!t.

doing things like this in the name of Islam and threatening the lives of those that have a heart and wish to see a less cruel and more humane jistice is exactly why somalia is better off in the hands of the warlords and not some neanderthallic fools. this is not justice, this is a murder. there was no reason to allow this man to die such a death, why stab him in the head? if you're going to take his life, why not take his life in a way that is not as painful? will he not eventually face his creater to brought to justice for his crimes? if you believe in God than why not allow him to carry out the punishment? do they believe by killing this man like this he is punished? what the fock is wrong with these bastards?

they obviously only did this to let the people know of their presense, spread fear and brainwash ignoramus, thickheaded, unintelligent morons into thinking this is justice according to Islam, well, NEWS FLASH YOU fock faces, THIS IS NOT JUSTICE!!

Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing ^^the screw..how are you bro?

I don't have a problem with the punishment itself (death)...but i have a problem with HOW it was carried out and WHO did the punishing.

what about you?

oh btw, it's IMPORTANT that punishments are done in the public's view so that other people will learn a lesson..Remember most punishments are supposed to be a detterent in Islam.

Well, it's God, not people, who prescribesthese punishments. Because humans are NOT perfect, they need to fear God and at the same time punishment in this life and in the hereafter.

I mean, although we know sins are bad, we still do them. Humans are very forgetfull and need constant reminders. Public excutions are necessary to remind people NOT to commit big sins and also to use as a deterrant..During the Taliban government (i don't approve of the way they applied the sharica), crime was soooo low that people would leave their stores OPEn and go to the mosque to pray...It was fear of being punished.

BLUERUSH....The victim's family decides that, nto the court. If they want him dead he will be killed. If they want blood-money, he can pay, they can forgive him and he goes free.

crimes were low during the Taliban Regime? what on God's green earth are you smoking man? you don't think grown men publicly shooting people in the heads with a focking AK-47 in soccer stadiums isn't a crime ? you don't think men beating women for standing outside to talk to their neighbors is a crime? you don't see any of that do you? well prepare to see things like that happen in your own focking country my freind, b/c if this keeps up, it will.

The people who judged him are more knowlegeable than all of you will ever be.
He killed the macalin dugsi in the same way. Even the warlords could not oppose it with all the dollars behind them.

You are confusing the darkness of the west(where you live) with enlightenment.
Get real, cowards.

Walahi, crimes like theft, roberry, murder were down like a 1000000% ...This was actually documented in western sources. The taliban only excuted criminals in the stadiums. Sounds like you have only the western versions of the taliban story...Even those who disagreed with them knew how EFFECTIVE they were......even in this story, read the bbc link..it says crime has gone down in the courts area....I mean all muslim countries have very low crime rates anyway but when people fear punishment, crime rates go down..
