First of all the concept of Somali union itself is ironically the product of the very European colonialism which it came out to resisit and oppose.

The Somali never felt or belonged to a nation,let alone a Nation State till the Euros came to Africa. Before that the Somali was no more than a butt-naked savage fluidity of clans and communities sharing a loose range of cultural and social values including courage and killing(like all human communities by the way), barbarity, misogyny, ignorance and haughty pride resulting from all the the values mentioned above.

In some ways the worst thing the euros gave us is their idea of how communities should organise themselves into rigid nation states - something they learnt from their own narrow, overcrowded, war-ridden social systems which evolved from their tiny, cramped little sewage-ridden continent.

The nation State temporarily worked for them so they (innocently on some occassions) tried to impose on our clan sysems concepts of nationhood that are completely alien to us.

So in some ways by becoming clan entities we are goig back to our reality; to our roots and rejecting colonialism! Clannism is actually revolutionary and cool!

It is not so much Somaaliyeey Toosoo but Jilibkeygoow toossooo for me. And if your are Kombo, poor little you, keep quiet. Kooombboy kaalaya aan geela wasnee..doesnt quite inspire..does it?



Who says the idea of a one `country' with stupid piece of clothing as a primary embelem, dumb, pointless lines on a sand and even dumber song which more or less says "let them all go to hell except our little piece of land we marked with out chit and piss" is somehow better than a clan area using the same processeses in different narrative?

Turning toward Socialism Galol are we? I'm glad to hear that the socialist principles that I've occasionally sought to diffuse aren't falling on deaf ears. I concur. I say get rid of all the artificial borders, and let's start thinking of the good of man internationally.

The notion that the peoples of the world have different aspirations and are at odds with each other is an absurd one. At root we're all the same, and we ought to work with one another to create another world, a world where people's needs come first instead of profit for big business; a world where workers take power. Internationalism is the word that's echoing across the world, not nationalism.

Glad you've finally turned your back on capitalism Galol. Socialism is the way forward. As Rosa Luxemburg once famously said: "It's either socialism or barbarism."

That is not all. It wasn't long ago, when Col. Afbiijo told his other Dhabayaco ministers that, in his own words, "Dhulbahante are good for only being footsoldiers, since Cabdille Xassan".

It looks like this shameful fool above is displaying the traits known for his clan.

It is a great enterprise that has the support of the whole international community and the Daarood are doing all in their power to exercise patience, compromise, consensus and cooperation to bring peace and prosperity to Somalia. You on the other hand have locked yourself up in a little tribal enclave called Somaliland. In reality it is Isaaqland and their is a lot friction and unrest in Isaaqland today. You appointed a non-Isaaq former Colonel in Siyaad Barre Secret police in order to Deny the Habar Jeclo their chance to govern. The weak Habar Jeclo are restive and want their share of the power since all the other Habars have had their chance but Colonel Riyaale employing all the tradecraft he learned in the old East Germany has consolidated his powers.

Today You cant get rid of Riyaale without unleashing a Samaroon Storm and setting off a possible breaking away of Awdal from Isaaqland into the waiting arms of their Big Ciise Brother Geelle.

Riyaale destroyed your dream and while doing it he abuses Isaaq people daily to the point of imprisoning young pregnant Sacad Muuse Women who subsequently had a miscarriage in prison.

He routinely jails your politicians. he cracks down on dissent. Freedom of Speech is something unheard of in Today's Somaliland.

And you have the temerity and gall to compare yourself to the illustrious and Esteemed Dhulbahante Darwiish Family.

I am in the vanguard for the Freedom, unity, progress of Somalia.

You have been in the service of Somala's enemies and oppressors and -but for a short period of nationalist consciousness - always working for the destruction and disunity of Somalis.

And yes btw You started your argument by pitting Isaaq vs Dhulbahante. That is the Natural matchup because we Dhulbahante are enough to keep all Isaaqs and in fact the entire Dirta Woqooyi at bay.
