Whats wrong with being both? I know of many women who are lawyers, dentists and lab technicians who juggle between career and family and from what i have seen they are handling it superbly. Smile Life is full of limitless choices. Dont restrict yourselves any more than necessary. Rolling Eyes

Yeah I left my first wife because she was constantly hurting my ego by flashing her masters degree in Womens Studies and her bachelors in Child Developement infront of me.

Your spouse should know whats best for her, a career or her marriage which will eventually add additional members to her family. It's quite simple which one she'll select.

Actaully Somalilight would not mind being housewife until my kids are at least 5 years old. If I can hold a flexible job on the side, i will, but i certainly don't mind taking afew years off, if we can afford it. I mean i have no insecurties about my capabilities in life, I am intellectually equal or smarter than most men anyway.

it must be the pollen season but I can't see how some of u r willing to ditch spinsterhood for housewife. The trade-off isn't beneficial.

Thats perhaps why we need more Nabeela's around, She has accepted her motherhood and more willingly has given up her career for her bundles of joy.

^ That' s if you earn enough to pay for her basic upkeep Laughing. If my husband can spoil me and the kids than I'll be a housewife. If he can' t then I'll have to work and help the poor guy out Sad
