Secondly, we don't "steal the resources." If we did, then places like Saudi Arabia would be the poor backwaters they were 100 years ago. Dusty, forgotten sand holes.

You mean as a mercenary ?? Problem is, the majority of those serving are "normal" civilians, and killing takes it toll on all but the worst offenders. I.E Bundy, et.al. So to expect them to go back as contractors and wantonly kill for money is a stretch at worst.

An incorrect analysis. First of all, Saudis have lived without oil from time immemorial, so it won't make a difference if oil revenues vanish; they would adapt. There are plenty of Islamic countries where oil as a source of life is non-factor. Secondly, we know the world's demand for oil is ever-growing, and demand outpaces supply (output). Besides, there are growing and hungry markets for oil, such as China, India, other Asian and non-Asian countries. So, the Islamic world doesn't need to sell its oil to the West.

Exactly! They think Muslims will die without selling their oil to them. They are who suffer more than any one else in this world.

^ saudi arabia is to reliant on oil. Other muslim countries do happen to survive because they haven't ever had it as a resource. But if you ever where in Saudi arabia in the 1950's like my uncle was you would understand the situation today is alot and I mean a heckaof alot better. They were trying to sell Saudi citizenship for a few riyals. Now the Saudis have gone arrogant with the resource brought by God.

Not every Saudi citizen is an arrogant. There are millions of good Muslims who pay their zakats and help other Muslims. Don't generize like that. I know some of you have had bad experiences but not all Saudis are like that.

Wealth is a test from Allah; people are tested with how they would spend it, whether they would spend it wisely or abuse it. Almost all secular Muslims abuse it. It doesn't matter whether you're Saudi, Somali, Sudani, etc- if you're a secular Muslim, it's guaranteed you would abuse it. Case example; Nigeria is one of the oil-richest countries in Africa, yet the oil revenues are abused, its standard of life doesn't differ from other poor African countries, and hardly the poor and needy benefit from it. If Somalia were to become oil rich, rich secular Somalis wouldn't be better than Saudis; they could become worse. Only Islamists are likely to wisely spend the wealth.
