Italia, almost all the oromos are muslim while almost half of the tigreys and amharas are also muslim. The afars(a small number of them are animists) and hararis(oromos, somalis and amharas) are also muslim.

More like 60-70% muslim.
there are allot of oromo who are orthodox christian and heavily intermarried with amhara, infact insome regions it is difficult to determine where amhara starts and oromo ends.

Now we shouldnt get all excited all of a sudden,
this Tigray goverment is actually quite good for us,
they are weak, and from the way they play the somali game they look like amatuers.

now if on the other hand meles falls and the amhara take over,
we really are looking forward to some interesting times.

the tigrey gov't is alot better then when menigustu and selassie were in power. They think Somalia is their divine right.

Amaharas and tigreys are majority christian.

But ethiopias Cushtic poulation of Oromos Somalis and Afars and sidama not sure about sidamas are like 90% muslim and they are like 60% of the population at the very least so that means a minority are ruling a minority.

Squad, somalia is not a government and it will probably not be able to defend itself against Ethiopia today. Iidoors, for one, would not join in to help their somali brothers because they would not want to lose face with ethiopia. Cabdullahi Yusuf would probably fight along side the ethiopian troops like some somalis did back in the day in the war between Somalia and Ethiopia. So really, somalia, today, can not defend itself from Ethiopia. Besides the western nations would probably support ethiopia providing it with military tacticians and weaponary. This is a tough thing for me to admit but it is truth saaxib. We are too divided today that even if a foriegn nations invades us, we will each other get slaughtered like sheep.
