Basra: That was fantastic!!! Excellent writing and really brilliant story. I want to wear one of those orange overalls that wear the Guantánamo prisoners or the prisoners the insurgents take to behead them!!! I'm dying for a orange overall in the height of the fashion!!!

Word of the meeting had spread all over the Mogadishu metropolis. The city was a buzz in rumors of an impending showdown. The following afternoon, AbdiWahab went down to his office at the AW Towers building to covene a press conference. Over 7 radio stations and an assortment of journalists were gathered to listen to his announcement. The meeting was being broadcast live on AWTv, HornAfrik, and Al Jazeera.
"Assalam Aleykum. Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim, my fellow citizens we have experienced a lot of strife and conflict over the many years since the Great Revolution of 1991. Our enemies have always used qabiil to divide us along different qabiil based factional groups. Today a new threat looms over the City of Mogadishu. A new enemy has risen its ugly head over our fair city. The enemy claim to be wadaads. They wave the Holy Quran in one hand as they steal, rape and murder with the other. This group has been behind the assasination of our intellectuals, artists, and celeberities. The enemy, Mudane and Marwo, seeks to destroy our Somali culture, our way of life, and turn us into another Afghanistan. Do you wish to live under a tryannical regime lead by the maniacal Aiman Beenlaawe, a crafty Yemeni ? Or wish to lose your freedom to watch the WORLD CUP finals, listen to music or even do siiyaaro for your dead ? If not, join me and the Alliance to confront this blight on the Somali nation. Our victory is a victory for your freedom to be Somali. "
Good build up. But i have an objection--please stop portraying Sheikh Aiman in a wrong way. I am his secretary in Muttawah battle u know-- he is not so bad.Otherwise the story is building momentum.

A light skinned, 5ft8 woman wearing a segsi n halal outfit (tight pants/hijaab) stood up. "Basra Elmi Boodheri, Wuuqoyi Inquirer. Mudane AbdiWahab, is it true that your organization has been receiving funds from MADMAC and the gaalo ?" she asked.
"Absolutely, not true. The Alliance has enough financial resources at its disposal" said AbdiWahab.
"How do you explain the recent increase of flights at the El Baraaf Airport ? Many cadaan have been spotted in that vicinity. " piped a dwarf of a man with who was wearing a bright orange sweater and worn out plaid shorts which exposed his spaghetti legs. Upon closer examination, it was none other than Uncle Bin.
"Who are you ? Please identify yourself ?"
"UncleBin, Bunaniland News." replied UncleBin who seemed to be shocked about being asked to identify himself. Thoughts ran through his bidaar heard. "Was it true that the Hawiye ate people like him ? Why did I have to do that expose on the toxic dumping in Iskushuuban ? God, if you deliver me back to Bunaniland, I promise to be a good Muslim.
"Those are baseless allegations. El-Baraaf Airport is used by many international aid agencies and the cadaan people you were refering to were members of the International Banana Farmers Assocation who were attending their annual symposium at the SomaliWeyn Banana Farms. I hope that the Bunaniland media does more research before reporting false news reports."
The question and answer session continued for another 30 minutes. AbdiWahab thanked the members of the media for attending the press conference and proceeded to make his way to his office.
"AbdiWahab ! Sir ! " yelled Basra as AbdiWahab walked away surrounded by this 10 man security detail.
"Abdi, I wanted to see if you would be willing to help a friend of mine. He is a photojournalist for El-Mundo and will be arriving later on this afternoon at El Baraaf Airport from Nairobi. His name is Kamal Juan Carlos Ferrera. Could you please do an interview with him ?" replied Basra. She bit her lip as Abdi paused to answer her question.
Abdi could not resist Basra. There was something that he found attractive about her. Was it her wit, or her beautiful smile ? "Basra Cadeey, for you my dear, I will do it. But promise me that you promise that you present the Alliance in a positive light !" said Abdi.
"Thank you so much, Sir AbdiWahab, oh... I mean Abdi." she replied. Basra was estatic that she was able to secure Kamal Juan Carlos Ferrera an interview. She had always fantasized about this Enrique Igelesias of a Spaniard. Would this please Kamal who in turn may come to see how much she cared for him ?
"Make sure your friend and you come to my house for dinner tonight. I will send a driver to fetch you." said Abdi. He bid Basra farewell.
