yeah man especially in the west.
I remeber back in uni when i used public transport like buses and trains,
I used to always get up and offer my seat to any old person, or a mother.
and people gave me looks like" whats he doing that for" ?

It seems a little strange, but then we can't really know the postal
clerk's intent. Maybe he just does that with everyone, regarless of
race.
