He was the Carta government, Speaker of parliment. His eelay people really got upset with him after he decided to run for Speaker and thus blocking the Eelay from the Prime Minister seat.

Allah ha u naxariisto Cabdale Deeroow Isaaq. i am against any killing of innocent people especially, innocent Raxaweyn politicians. Well, this is just like what have been happening in Mogadishu before the Islamic Courts took its control. There were a lot of educated (such as Abdulkadir Yahya Ali) and well-known people were assassinated at that time.

Are you implying there was some kind of taboo against killing people in front of mosques?

If yes then you are for sure wrong: Somalis rules of engagement never included not killing in Mosques and it ahppened many times before.

The taboos are or at lesat are among the Notherners of all clans and the Ogadens

1. Dont kill magayno. This means old people, women and children under 15. Magayno also includes poets and wisemen of reknown.

2. Dont cut down a shade tree.

3. Leave a lactating camel for the children


Everything else goes. nebver once have I heard there are places that people should not be killed.
