I was watching a video of a White Dutch women reciting Buraanbur in Somali, I swear to God it was hilarious. What is even funnier is, she tells you the occassions (in Somali) that each Buraanbur is supposed to be recited. She said something like "Marka kebadda la samaynayo" !!!!!!! I was like, Daymmmm, who told her what Kebed is? Half the posters in here don't know what a kebed is

Qansa Tuulo Bawaaqo your talking about i a new creation..it came with Kacaanka 21 Oct and the Bililqo that followed whereas the original tuulo baqwaaqo formerly known as Buuryaqab was there for hundreds of years very close to galka'yo just befor Burtinle...so I think over all i know just a little better than you when it comes to somalia's geoghraphy. Uncle,

Walaal, I do not conceive things. I know the girls. They act like very religious and they regard other girls who dance not religious walaahay...

Sir,

Unfortunately I do not dance...But I enjoy watching it...And strangely enough I do not like people who butcher the dance...I love to listen music... one of my weaknesses.. Sad Xaalkaygu waa Bakhtiga ma cunee, fuudkiisaan cabbaa... Laughing Laughing

Cawar,

One of the Somali dances I like is Dhaantada... They made their songs classic now.. Smile

Costa,

Ilaahay amarkii ma dhegeysto heesaha Carabiga iska daa ku ciyaariddodee Shocked
