It is not the food alone. Food alone will not make you gain a lot of weight. After they gain a lot of weight during pregnancy, somali women usually do not work off that weight as women of other nationalities usually do. They also become very inactive and tend to stay home a lot which only contributes to their weight gain. Anual childbirth is only part of the problem.
