Nagin, If you knew American foreign policy worked against the incorporation of Ogaden into Somalia when Britain tried to implement the "Belvin Plan" or Greater Somalia. American forieng policy is terrible. It does not take into the calculation the effect of their undertaking. The Iraq debacle is a case to note that the whole engagement is a failure and they are regretting now.

Good question! As a Somali president, I would distribute cabinet seats based on merit like Adeer Siyaad did in the 70s and early 80s. I won't rush into ideaological movement and its implementation in a land whose people detest "alien" product. I would have emphasized three major blueprint (or plan of action) for the success of Somalia. Education, Resource tapping, decentralized municipality.

The first one I would have built middle and high school in every village and a university in every district.

If we don't tap our resources, who else will? We shouldn't put off opportunities, if the deal is horrilbe like 15% of revenue that will come out of the production , I would have underlined that deal.

Decentralized muniipality is of paramount importance. We used to have everything done in Mogadisho. If I want a driver license, back in the days, people would travel to Mogadisho or Capital districts. The need for public services will be made available in every village and town.

Also you should have all high school drop outs rounded up and shot, or better yet thrown in to the sea. Laughing

DROP OUTS waa drain on our society, and their caqli xuumo should not be tolerated.

Definitely you should ban jaat and any other type of harmfull drugs.
