i heard dat its xaram when u first have sex wid ur husband, coz ur preventing to have ur first child. anyway sex before marriage is xaram, so the whole condom being xaram story isnt really important.

No wearing condom isnt haraam, as long as you two are married to each other and have a valid reason such as wifeÂ’s poor health to avoid pregnancy.

Salam Alekum Thank you superlady.
Involver before you come to the conclusion of something being haram or not you might want to have some evidence of it being haram.
Its not just the Deen but simply common sense. If it was haram a woman will be pregnant every year.(This is for the married couples of course!).
Valid Reasons for Contraception:
The first valid reason for contraception is the fear that the pregnancy or delivery might endanger the life or health of the mother; the criterion of determining this possibility is experience or the opinion of a reliable physician. Allah Almighty says: '... And do not be cast into ruin by your own hands....' (Al-Baqarah: 195) and, '... and kill not one another. Lo! Allah is ever Merciful unto you.' (An-Nisa': 29)
Another reason is the fear that the burden of children may hamper the familyÂ’s circumstances so much that one might accept or do something haram (unlawful) to satisfy their needs. Allah says: '... Allah desires ease for you, and He does not desire hardship for you...' (Al-Baqarah: 185) and, '... It is not AllahÂ’s desire to place a burden upon you...' (Al-Ma'idah: 7)
HOWEVER using it because of fear of being poor or for example the woman wants to have a career or anything like that thats when the situation differs.
Wasalam.

One of the reason why contraception is allowed is so that the woman may rest between pregnancies. In the case that you mentioned a woman might work after her first child that can be a way of taking a break.
What I meant was someone whos married, doesnt have kids and is not looking to have children. This is just an example.
Every situation differs so is best for someone whos in that position to speak to someone with knowledge this doesnt have to be face to face as it can be embaressing, website such as islamonline, are helpful.
Again this is for those who are married.
