Do not forget that the Chief Executive controls foreign policy, including Iraq policy, lock, stock and barrel. Congress doesn't really get a vote.

The difference now Mad Mac is that there will be some level of accountability. The biggest reason Rumi resigned is because he sees himself being entangled in lots of congressional inquiries and investigations: club Getmo, torture memos, CIA secret detentions, huge unchallenged giveaways to Halliburton.
I mean the old man has an idea of what those congressional inquiries will be like without succk ass Santorum or Hatch cozying up to him.

Come on, you know how the government works. This is a tit for tat thing. IF the Democrats want to get a single billed signed into legislation, they will have to work with Bush, because he can veto anything they do. They know it, he knows it.

So the Congress is going to have little to say about what happens in Iraq.
