But that being said, he should just give her some lame excuse about how you can only marry more than one wife if you have the approval of the first wife and HER family, as well as the approval of his own family. And if THAT don't work, tell her only certified Wadaads and Wahaabii sect Muslims can marry more than one.

Under normal circumtances, I would have suggested to him to keep her for as long as he wants, cos french gals are the most Raaliya of the cadaan bunch...but the guy is getting married and messing with old lovers might destroy the home and the tranquility he is looking for in a marriage..
