I woudn't be suprised if he was Christian, because its mostly Abgaals that usually convert to Christianity. Most other Somali non-Muslims are usually just athiest, but not Abgaals.

Isn't his wife a Christian Ethiopian too? If he has kids, I doubt they are Muslim. Ethiopians are really big on thier religion.
