Wallaahi they shouldnÂ’t bother forcing people to disarm. They should learn a few things from the mistakes the Americans made.

The Americans with all their tanks, helicopters and troops couldnÂ’t disarm our street let alone the whole of xamar. They will just make more enemies instead of disarming anyone.

An Abgaal buddy of mine told me that Salad Gabeyre failed in his 1969 coup because he forgot to include a "Sheydaan Aarkey" - Sacad.

the majority of reer xamar are Abgaal and Murursade. Abgaal is on board and Murursade well they're kuwait. Sacad will also turn over their weapons.

Murusade are not a major clan in Xamar. Abgaal are a large clan who are divided: Harti Abgaal is on board but Wacaysle are not.

The Sacad will hand over our weapons to a Sacad commander to be sent to the GalMudug Defense Force Reserves.

i don't want your weapons, i just don't want them in the hands of civilians and mooryaans.

you can turn over to a sacad commander so long as hes a military officer in the TFG forces and is commisioned by the ministry of defense.

both waceeysle & wacbuudhan will turn over their weapons.

Xoog> youÂ’re right, xamar is an abgaal city. Lakiinse, if the abgaal were on board like you claim, they would have handed over their weapons by now. They will not do so until they get something in return and Somalis never respond to threats.

As for the ceyr and saleebaan, they are not the most armed people inside Xamar, the sacad are more armed than them. There is no point in assuming clan alliances is going to get the TFG anywhere, people have to be able to trust the authorities. Right now, the donÂ’t trust the Ethiopians and the puppet government and you can hardly blame them. Not everything is about qabiil balse ninkii qabiil maskaxdii laqay ma garanaayo waxkale.
