Yup, it means protector.

root word: واق

waaqa (وَآقَ) also means someone who causes hardship and it comes from the root اق

"It is difficult to defend Hawiye, "

Gamadid

You can say that again. These buggers ride donkeys; eat moxog, wear dacas made out of shaag; make muufo and ever since they learnt how to carry Kalashs and use them; they never looked back. What we and the Kombos learnt over a century is when to put down a gun.

They have yet to discover that trick. As a result they killed a Nation.

Hawiye were a peaceful people before iljeexda arrived from Central Somalia. But now the damage has already been done and it is far too late to reverse it.

I don't think anybody than say definitively that the Waaq in the Quran does not mean the same word in the Oromo language, since both of them have some divine reference.

I'm not saying it DOES mean the same thing, I'm just saying somebody who doesn't have in-depth knowledge of both.

Dowlad

Is this magnanimity in victory? If it is you are doing a good job. But it wont work.

You are still a Qabilist Kombo and Hawiyes can see through that. Ask A/wahab or Af-libaax if he believes you.
