Lol, Comparing shitty Raxanweyne citys to Bosaso! Haha
Bosaso has between 400 000 and 700 000 citizens and no slums unlike the southern Cities. No ruins, No rival clans, Total peace.
It is the #3 city of Somalia. (Mogadishu and Hargeisa being bigger)

Camal
Maybe Baidoba and Bosaso are about the same size but Beledwayne is bigger than the both of them. Beledwayne looks like it is more packed and better built. Bosaso looks shyt to be honest.

This will clearify things for you.
Here are two pictures one from Bosaso and the other from Beledwayn..
What I did here is that I turned the "scale" on which appears on the bottom left corner of the screen. I tried to make the scale about 1500m... I did very close: For Beledweyne I did about 1497m and for Bosaso I did for 1504m (that was the best I could with my crappy mouse
). Anyways what this shows you is that, the scale on the ground is fairly about the same for both (give or take 5m).
Also, I used the measurement tool which is also shown on the top righthand corner in Kilometers.
See them for yourself and comeback after you analys them.

well that would mean a the biggness of a city is determined by its vertical lenth. thats not possible.
boosaaso seems bigger to me if you look how dense it is without the opportunity for agricultural development and the "spaciousness" as a result of it that beledweyne has. its the trees and the fact that every house has severa; green km of land around it in beledweyne that could be making you think beledweyne is bigger.
or it could be becuz you faysal ali waraabe's nephew.

Camel Herder, can you show us pics of Garoowe, Burtinle and Wardheer please.
Something doesn't add up with Boosaaso.

If you look at the south of Boosaaso, at the end of the road you should be seeing Xaafadda New Boosaaso. You couldn't miss it, because the houses are built in large blocks. But it is not there at all.
South of the small farming area between the airport and Xaafadda Baalade is totally empty, while in fact there are new Xaafado there and also a Refugee camp.
The airport itself has a totally new building that you possibly couldn't miss. It is large and white, better or just as visible than the other buildings you see within the city. But yet all you see is the small buildings it had been replaced with.

Xaafadda Raf iyo Raaxo which has only grown explosively since 2001 and is outside Boosaaso is nowhere to be found on the pics as well. And this Xaafad is the largest, after Biyokulule and Baalade.
Stranger is that the refugee camps for the southerners have been reorganised with help of UNHCR, after they were dumped into one place. The city grew and the refugee camps threatened to be located within city limits. That's how Boqolka Buush, Buulo Ajuuraan, Buulo Shabeele etc. came into being. Regulated refugee camps outside the city with basic facilities. They should have been visible to, everybody knows how many refugees live in Boosaaso. In the 10s of thousands.
I'm telling you these pics cannot be representing 2007's Boosaaso. Boosaaso is still attracting Somalis all over for its commercial appeal. All Somali companies have laamo in Boosaaso, erecting large buildings there. Why do that in Boosaaso and not Beledweyn, if Beledweyne is bigger.
