Istarliin Cabdi Caruush --- peace activist, humanitarian worker and murdered while helping Somalis.

Xaawo Cawaale Abtidoon ---- first female MP in Somali parliament 60s (hopefully this is not Demure’s mother lol)

There are sooo many more but I don't feel comfortable mentioning their names here.

I would also say my mum because she is a great Somali woman as I'm often told by everyone.

I'm sorry she was taken out. Supposedly by her Al Qaeda cousin Aden Xaashi Ceyrow who couldnt stand a gaalo-raac woman with her own militia and town (Marka).

Cayr named that brand new modern hospital Abdiqasim built in Guri-Ceel after her. Istarliin hospital they called it.

My favorite Somali females of all time are:

1. Eedo Maka Ciire (aun): An excellent cow milker and an entertaining story teller. If it wasn't for her daily bottle of milk I used to drink as a kid, I don't know where I would be today.

2. Aay Faay Cali (not the infamous one): The best Muufo maker in all of Mogadishu, thanks to her delicious Muufo, I always had something to look forward at dinner time after a hard & hot day in Mogadishu.

God bless all the hard working Somali women who have raised families and have taken on the responsibilty of being mothers & bread winners.

Your such a fool, my uncles and aunts as in my dads brothers and sisters. Gramps had three Daarood wives and three Isaaq wives, xalaalna wuu ku qabay. You keep mentioning fukking street, is that where you were conceived?
