Re: A LOVE POEM.............
Helwa, my respectful sheekhad, Valentine was started by a kufr gay man.
He sacrificed his life for his gay lover.
Don't encourage it.
Zulaikha.....Walahi I am pleased to hear somali gabdho who can't stand Galo dhaqan.
I can't stand their shit but the sisters are easily swayed by the fake galo glitters and I am helpless.
He sacrificed his life for his gay lover.
Don't encourage it.

Re: A LOVE POEM.............
I don't feel lonely or anything on valentine day. When is it first?
Zulaikha....what Arab culture are you talking about?
When the prophet(peace be upon him) came, Arab culture was worse than western culture.
Zinnah was wide spread. women hardly dressed, alcohol and killing girls, etc.
They follow the prophet like us so we are bound to reinforce each other and our cultures, due to Islam, which is a complete way of life is almost identical.

Allah tries good girls may be more than the others.
I know quiet a few in real life. I just see big gap where they are and what they deserve.
Allah is best in reward finally.

"we are bound to reinforce each other and our cultures, due to Islam"
would that be regarded as espousal for cultural significance in Islam? a recognition and respect per se, of the notion so long as it remains within the confines of Islamic mandates? Well in that case the latter portion in your above argument prudent of the “almost identical†conveys to the thinking that whilst there’d be a cultural tendency to the faith, should it be desired, conversely let it be of one that is “identical†to that of those fortunate enough to bear the language, the customs, and the ethnicities of a most beloved prophet (pbuh).
i'm afraid arabs drop the ball on the reciprocity u are alluding to, every other non-arab muslim is doing their part though.
i hate to break it to you but there is great deal of dificulty for non-arab muslims to reconcile their faith with their non-arab cultures (even when all Islamic mandates are fully met). somehow inclination with arab values is at the forefront of faith validations...this is where I part company on such thinking. I can be a great muslim while keeping my own distinct customs that counter arab values.
