Look, I got bitten by clan bug recently... I will recover. But you, you've been bitten from birth.
Re: Who owns Hiiraan Online?
I have been for sometimes a reader of Hiiraan.com and do still read now and then mostly about information relating to Somalis and Somalia's civil war and political/peace process, I have yet to dictate any tone of misled and bias to and against the people of Somaliland/Puntland or any other political/tribal and religious institution(S). I have found the articles in hirran online to come from multitude of positions and differing point of views regarding wide range issues. I am amazed at the assumption made that Hiiraan online has been a victim of acquisition by the disgrace puppet of Ethiopia the so called TFG, it fair to assume if the assumption of the rumor of take-over is true then the content and moreover the articles of Somali intellectual in the diaspora will reflect the views of the TFG but having personally visited hiiraan.com before posting i have found the myriads of articles that are critical of TFG thus itself rebunked the alleged acquisition.

Damn it seems many have failed to learn anything from the civil war...I wonder is qabil bullshit still necessary in this post?
Why not discuss the subject matter objectively and leave qabil aside?

Re: Who owns Hiiraan Online?
who gives a damn who owns hiiran. they say somalinet is owned by the cousin of abdulahi yusuf and does it look like a tfg propoganda tool?
Re: Who owns Hiiraan Online?
Hiiran is terrible sit. Everything is heavily censored but I have hard time believing they’re front company for the federal government of Somalia. Let’s face it, they chose Somalia’s Jim Jones, that genocidal cult leader as the man of the year.

Re: Who owns Hiiraan Online?
It is anti UIC but not too bad. Most of their articles are balanced, it is just that recently they've had a flood of biased pro TFG articles which made some people suspicious. I doubt they're owned by the TFG. They're not that bad. Idamaale is owned by the TFG though.

Re: Who owns Hiiraan Online?
The problem with maryooley: If they don't see a website that is not reporting their views, from the prespective of the tuulo they came from, they assume a conspiracy.
Hiiran online is one of the more balanced websites and contains a variety of articles that express different opinions. Just becasue it does not neccessarily report the dnut shop version of news events doesn't mean that it is biased.
I don't think that Hiran online is either pro TFG or anti ICU. They reports facts and rely on few reporters such Salaad Idow Hasan - Xiis. I think they abstain frm reporting news that they can not verify,or find a reliable source to quote.

i like reading news and analysis on hiiran. the worst websites are idamaale, puntland for tfg, kismayo, shabeele, qaadisiya and ... for hutu courts.
