This is a legitimate question.

I believe it is un-ethical and un-islamic behaviour if the women doing that has other options in which she could do this in private or without exposing herself...There are exceptions though, in which a mom is in a very hardship situation in which she could not do in private like when she is riding a truck with so many passengers and the baby cries and cries she should try to cover herself and men should respect that...But we know there are un-mannered men who will peek at her etc

Also there are "Wax Iskuma Falooyin" like the one mentioned here who would expose herself on the stairs and acting as a mom feeding her baby.... Bilaa edeb!!!!!
