Somaliland has nothing to loose Morexaar boy.

But the reason why Xabashi prefer Puntland is that because the Tigre actually has done its homework very well. Meles Zenawi has deviced his interests into 3 different categories. Short-term, middle-term and longer-term.

In the short-term interest, is to do as much damage as they can in between the clans of Somalia (proper). The Tigre is killing few birds with one stone, in this goal.

Short-term interest:
1. They want to seed emnity inbetween different Somali clans in Southern Somalia (including Puntland)
2. They want to seed emnity inbetween the Daarood clan itself
3. They want to divide Southern Somalia into manageable blocks with a SOB (Son of a Bytches) in place in each block

In the mid-term interest:
1. They want to keep Somaliland in a state of limbo
2. They want to keep Somalia (proper) in a state of anarchy

In the longer-term interest:
1. Is to support the official partition of Somalia in which Somaliland gains independence.

In sum, in the short-term interest their aim is to kill "Somali nationalism" in every level. Their mid-term interest is to keep the Somalis weak. Their longer-term interest is to keep Somalia divided.

. "The US-backed Ethiopian intervention prematurely ended a delicate peace process, six months of law and order, and threw Mogadishu back into tension. Today, motors and artillery are routinely fired from all directions; assassinations are part of the daily rituals; robbery and rape are becoming rampant, and a full-fledged insurgency is feared. The latest military intervention is seen by most Somalis as the climax of Ethiopia's centuries-old hegemonic aspirations of occupation. Matters are made worse by reports that thousands of Ethiopian families continue to be settled in various regions such as 'Somaliland' and 'Puntland' that could, in due course, make annexation of Somalia an option." (From the above commentary)

3. "For Meles who micro-managed most of the 14 previous 'reconciliation' conferences, which failed, maintaining the status quo is the sure approach to attaining his overall objective. It is what diverted attention away from him, veiled his dictatorial tendencies and his regime's systematic disenfranchisement of certain ethnic groups such as the Amhara, gave him a carte blanche on human rights abuse and secured his country an endless recipient of US taxpayers' dollars as a 'partner' in the global war on terror. Obviously, what benefits Meles does not hurt Somalia only." (From the above commentary)

Kun dile, marka doesn't your own post contain answers as to why Somalia needs to unite, get rid of Somaliland independence dream, and to let go of the hate you hold??

Closely read your post again, surly you will not need a reply from me, and you have answered a lot of questions for yourself and your lot.

Sade Boi,
You are a fool. You hardly understand what I said.

Somaliland existed before and will exista after Zenawi. The recognition of Somaliland is backburner issue, in this regard. Ethiopia just happens to find Somaliland's cause as part of its interests.

Just forget about Somaliland for an instance and try to align your thinking mind to Somalia(Proper).

Now ask yourself as part of Somalia(Proper), do you need unity? do you need peace? do you need governance? If yes to all of these, then the Xabashi are your enemy. Because the Xabashi want none of that.

Puntland and the Mareexaans fell into the big net that Zenawi put in place for his tricks. Now he has few things done and dusted for him:

1. Talk of Somali Unity is done and dusted and dead. Come on, will you expect your uncle Barre Huuraale to come up on the microphone or on BBC and cry us all a river about Somali nationalism now? Sure
2. Forget about liberating Somali Galbeed.
3. The shock-waves of the Dhabayaco+Morexaar+Xabashi coalition will have lasting stain on the future relations of the Somali people
4. The grudge in between Dooros themselves will last the next hundred years. Come on, how do you think the Ogaden feel about the massacre that took place in Jubbada Hoose? forget about the signing away of Ogadenia by Col. Yey

Now, put these together and whose interest is Puntland the Morexaars fighting?

I am sure Somalilanders will be fighting for their own interests and will be trying to extend a hand of friendship to who ever is willing to listen to them.

Waxmadille

Why do you continuously talk out of your ass? Wallahi waan kula yaabanahay, marna nin gaari ah oo wax garad ah yaad iila egtahay marka kalena wax aan jirin oo doqosh ah. War heedhe one hand you perfectly describe the situation of dalkeena and damaca Zanewi iyo Xabashadu Soomaali ka leedahay but on the other hand you proof to be an ignorant geeljire who sees not beyond what his hand can reach.

Teeda kale halkee ku aragtay Mareexaan Afbiijo raacsan? Barre Hiiraale oo personal reasons hayste maahe that was forced Axmaaro inuu garab ka doonto after the Hawiye cimaamado xirtayaal brought Afghanistan iyo paskistaan iyo oromo mahe, where do you see Mareexaan raacsan Axmaaro ama Afbiijo u sacabtumo? Mise adigu waxaad ku socoto who cares, Darod waa Darod, Afbiijana Axmaaro haday kursiga ku hayso then Darod baa lagu hayaa. Ma sidaas baa, then haday sidaas tahay Cilmiile yaan ku daynaynaa. Iska celi.

Both we Mareexaans and you Isaaq are quiet about what is going on but we have two very important ministries that deal directly with the occupation but while your minister (the foreign minister Buubaa) is fulfilling his duties of campaigning for the occupation, our minister (the defense minister Hiiraale) has refused to budge and has twice refused to carry out his duties for the occupation even risking imprisonment or worse, shirqool, by Zenewi's men.

I don't know about you but the evidence is clear to me about who is being used and who is what.

Unity does not represent Strenght all the time.
Division does not represent weakness but may be a source of strenght.

In somalilands case , completly ignoring the politics of Somalia has been a big mistake .

It is in the interests of Somaliland to find partners in Somalia right now, and
lend hand to the enemies of its enemies.

I hope our politicians realise this.
