It is therefore the dual objective of SNM, firstly to speak for the long-suffering Somali people whose voice has been brutally silenced at home, and draw the attention of the international community to the extremely dangerous situation now developing in the Somali Republic with the possible consequence of deepening instability in this vitally strategic region. Secondly; to contribute effectively to the continuing struggle for the dismantling of this calamitous military regime and its replacement with a free, democratic system of government that is truly representative of the Somali nation as a WHOLE".

The SNM oppose and fight:
--------------------------

4/"The constant attempt to destroy the social and moral fibre of the Somali society."

9/"9. The pursual of an incoherent, ill-conceived, unpredictable and self-defeating foreign policy, which has resulted in the isolation of the Somali people and widespread indifference to their causes. This has resulted in:{ amongst other things}
-"Subjection of the Somali masses to harrowing indignities and severely damaging their self-esteem.

--Upon the removal of Barre's tyrannical rule we shall, with the support of the Somali people establish and secure at all costs a representative democracy which guarantees human rights, freedom of speech, freedom of association and the socio-economic well-being of the Somali nation.
LONG LIVE THE SOMALI PEOPLE! LONG LIVE SNM!
VICTORY FOR SNM! VICTORY FORTHE SOMALI PEOPLE!
Ina Baxar

One of the Officers who enforced Barre's tyranical rule was Xasan Yoonis Habane, the pig who died recently. And you were bragging about his genocide against the Harti in the service of Siyaad Barre in your exchange with XaarPu$$y.

Which leads me to conclude that all those fine words about liberty, Self-esteem and dignity of Somalis etc etc are a bunch of hooey and the real aim of SNM was to liberate the Isaaq from their bondage to Daarood. Very Happy

Assalaamu Alaikum,

InaBaxar, restoring Somaliland’s sovereignty has nothing to do with confidence. It is a matter of principle. Every single one of those points can be fulfilled first within Somaliland and exported to Somalia Proper without blurring the two political entities. The question you should ask yourself is, does Somaliland have a representative democracy which guarantees human rights, freedom of speech, freedom of association and the socio-economic well-being? I’m sure you will agree we are still struggling with these lofty goals. Charity begins at home my brother.

VICTORY FORTHE SOMALI PEOPLE & THE ISLAMIC UMMAH

Salah Al Din if restoring Somalilans'd sovereignty is a matter of principle to you , then you should not be advocating for exporting anything to Somalia. Laughing
As far as I am concerned I believe restoring the confidence of the people was the primary goal behind our current position, the ones who water that seed for so long just cannot stop its growth anymore Laughing

So lemme get this right. Xasan Yoonis Habane was sent by Siyaad to Mudug to murder and butcher the Majeerteen civilians as a reprisal against Cabdilaahi Yuusuf and the predominantly Majeerteen SSDF who were fighting against the Siyaad regime. He did it enthusiastically and with gusto. But then somewhere along the line a few years later he had a change of mind and adopted this SNM charter of Liberty and Justice for all Somalis.

Good for him if he genuinely repudiated his genocidal history and became a man dedicated to democracy and Justice.

But should you be reviving in people's mind that one of the Greatest SNM generals was one of Siyaad Barre's most enthusiastic butchers: poisoner of wells, rapist of young girls, mass executioner who killed hundreds of unarmed Majeerteen nomads.

And if you support this kind of War Criminal, how can anyone take the Isaaq complaints about Siyaad opression seriously when they themselves were complicit in so many of Siyaad's crimes. Indeed you are proud of it.

Ina Baxar

You guys always complain that the Daarod butchered your people. That Isaaq were oppressed by Siyaad's military regime. That Morgan was the author of the infamous memo that was posted right here on Somalinet not long ago.

Others make the claim that only Isaaq people suffered at the hands of Siyaad. Galool is one of them.

But right here we have a Isaaq General who was guilty of War Crimes against Innocent Majeerteen civilians. And you, an Isaaq Somalilander, are proud of this genocidaire. Do the Isaaq have a right to use the Oppression of Siyaad as a rationale for repression when one of their most decorated guerrilla generals was guilty of War Crimes serving Siyaad Barre. And when A colonel in Siyaad Barre's secret police is President of Somaliland?

You think you're seeing an opening cilmiile , laakiin waxba kama jiran .
Xasan Yoonis was ordered by Afweyne, so was Morgan.
Now let's say I agree with you and that they're all war criminals , both Afweyne and Xasan Yoonis are dead so let's put Morgan on trial , watchu say mayne? Laughing
You're barking up the wrong tree!

You can put him on trial after we stage ours. We will put him on trial for being an incompetent general who botched every battle Laughing Laughing Laughing

My friend I dont praise War criminals. If he is guilty of crimes send him to the Hague. By all means.

SNM Mujahidun? Are we talking about the SNM? The SNM 'Mujahidun' who massacred the Ogaadeen refugees, the SNM 'Mujahidun' who plundered and looted the non-Isaaqs? The SNM 'Mujahidun' who hijacked planes full of innocenent passengers and threatened to blow it up?

Yes, indeed, the SNM Mujahidhun!

One of the SNM "Mujaahid" is Xasan Yoonis Habane. According to Ina Baxar this guy committed Genocide. But he thinks it is alright because "Afweyne" told him to do it. Flip Wilson comes to mind and his catch phrase: The devil made me do it.

DS, have you noticed that especially the youngsters scream "Mujahids!" at the mere mention of the SNM. From young age they were fed this propagandic information. This reminds of the USC Mooryaan methods. They used to force the children to scream "USC Liberators" 24/7 or be killed.
