Dhaga inadeer the Tigre adminitration's foreign minister said yesterday that they would have CY coming to Hargeysa once they " settle" things down in Xamar. If that happens , I will NEVER call myself Somalilander again.
EOMM of course dee sow isku dad ma nihin ,
Ina baxar,

Him coming to Hargeisa or us going to Mugadisho, dailog between the two regions is must in order for us to move forward...agree?

However, I beleive, If talks held between the two countries it will be outside of Somaliland and Somalia. I don't think Yey has the balls to come to Hargeisa. I'm 100% sure somaliland ain't going to Mugadisho with him in power.

BTW, I don't think we saw the end of the Somali political problem. When the wadaads came to picture everybody said this is it and now this. I don't think it is that easy.

There should NOT be any kind of dialog with the TFG period!!!
1/ They call us terrorists and shyte.
2/They threatened Somaliland a couple of times .
3/It is obvious to everybody that they were put in place by the Ethiopians.
Somaliland should engage the future president of Somalia after they hold universal elections { in other words somebody elected by the people }.

Laughing
Liqaaye , first of all it would be of a great danger if "the Isaaqs you see in real life" would all think the same , unless of course you're talking about your little gang from your local mafrish: It's a well known fact that { a trait they get by their proximity to the dhulbahante } dawocos RARELY disgree with each other in public Laughing
No2/ We're only commenting on the Ethiopian foreign minister' statement .

Ina Baxar,

Every power in the south since 1991 threaten Somaliland. There is nothing new there.

Yes Ethiopia put the TFG together knowing it was the only outlet for Ethiopian to invade Somalia. No any other Somali authority including the warlords would do such that. I don't think they're doing it for Yey or to create Somali UNITED super power which one day may simply launch attack against Ethiopia. They did it because US and the west at large felt threaten by the wadaads and Ethiopia was willing to do the dirty job to eliminate any sign of Islamic super power in the horn. Which also benefits the Ethiopian in the long run. Keeping Somalia scatter is the ultimate political strategy of the Ethiopians...THIS HELPS SOMALILAND TO REGAIN ITS RECOGNITION AS A NATION.

Liqaaye,

Sillanyo deserves a chance to lead Somaliland. I also believe he is the best candidate we have SO FAR. I think he did more for Somaliland people than these stooges in power today..but he need to change the complexion of his party.
Petroleum iyoo waxaa ka baxa, we don't need that shyte for now. If the oil is there it ain't going nowhere. No we need to concentrate on where as a collective group we wanna take ourselves. I say NO to secession delivered by the TFG, I say NO to CY invited by UDUB in Hargeysa and finally NO to ethiopian hegemony in the Horn of Africa!!
We don't need it right know for sure, but we need to learn everything we can before we invest in it and that is what seminar like this is all about.

Dhaga inadeer I dunno from what perspective you're looking at the problem , but I think I have made mine pretty clear here many times. I don't want and oppose a recognition of Somaliland at this point in time . Ethiopia had 16 yrs to do it . Now that they have CY and Geedi in power in the South recognizing us would equal " raashin gacanta bidix afka lagaaga siiyay" Laughing
Walaaka oo la gumeysanayo adigoo idhaha ku haya , xaggey raaxo jirta . Waxani qabyaalad iyoo nacayb sokeeye ka wayn, soomalinimo ayay socota sheekadu maanta. 4 nin oo la soo kiraystay oo damacsan inay soomaali oo dhan xaraash geeyan wax lagu eegi karo ma' aha.
Little boxes ayaa loo kala sameeyay soomalidii , oo gebi ahaan in dusha laynaga wada xukumo ayaa la raba , waan diiday anigu arrintaas!
