we are being occupied by Ethiopians, they can practically claim these regions you are boasting about. Its is a cheap thread at its lowest intellect

Self-reliance in the Northeast: Puntland (2002)
"In comparison to Hargeisa, Bosasso residents enjoy a higher standard of living if we compare average daily incomes. While urban residents of Hargeisa earn, on average, about $1 a day, Bosasso residents earn over $4. Naturally, with respect to Bosasso, IDPs earnings are far lower. Most IDP households in Bosasso earn a daily wage of a little over a $1, which is more than 50percent, more than most returnee/IDP families living in and around Hargeisa. However, for Bosasso's IDPs these earnings are seasonally dependent."
Therefore Bosaso and Puntland in general has a higher standard of living then Hargeisa and 'Somaliland'. We can also assuming that wages in towns like Galkacyo, Laascaanod, Erigavo, Garowe, Badhan, Qardho, Las Qoray are higher then those in the NW Somali towns.
Yearly Income:
Bosaso Resident Yearly wage:
$4 X 6(days)X 4(weeks)X 12(Months)= $1152+ USD
Hargeisa Resident Yearly Wage:
$1 X 6(days)X 4(weeks)X 12(Months)= $288 USD
Bosaso IDP wage:
$1 X 6(days)X 4(weeks)X 12(Months)= $288 USD
Hargeisa IDP Wage:
$.50 X 6(days)X 4(weeks)X12(Months)=$144 USD

that was just 2002
bosaso went from 50.000 in 1991 to 300.000-500.000 in 2006 15 years later
wages are now 5 times higher then they were in 2002

Maybe the wages are higher because things are more expensive over there due to the lack of local produce, fewer homes and so on.... also due to the harsher weather, maybe wages have to be higher to get people to work...
