Although my posts may sound harsh, really I have nothing against Hawiye at all. Infact if you notice my posts, I try to use "USC" as much as possible, to differentiate between Hawiye and USC. Lakin my only resentment to Hawiye comes when I feel they're condoning USC's actions in any, way, shape or form. If a Hawiye were to renounce, and have no sympathy to the brain dead moryan outfit known as the "USC" then I would accept them as Somali brothers. If not, then wax noo dhaxeyso ma jirto.

Laughing Lugh.

Well, have u seen me using the name ''USC''?

It was Mogadishu masses that started the kacdoon and which I am proud of for their accomplishments. The ''USC'' is solely responsible for the warlordship, never ending conflict, internal division & decay, political ignorance etc.

The same members of ''USC'' are now working with the Tigre occupation and part of the Tigre puppet government: Ali Mahdi, Maxamed Dheere, Caato, Qeybdiid etc.

But history will judge everybody according to his accomplishments.

Mogadishu masses will be remembered for the Revolution of 1991 and their heroic defense of the Revolution against internal and external enemies up
Warlords and incompetent leaders (USC) will be remembered for wasting the Revolution of 1991 and collaborating with internal and external enemies of 1991 Revolution. down

Somaliweyn,

I guess we might be starting to come to some sort of understanding. I understand your point about Hawiye being hijacked by the USC. Furthurmore I was not insinuating in my posts that everyone must love MSB no matter what. He (aun) was a political figure, and he can be opposed or supported by anybody. However in retrospect to the aftermath of the "Kacdon" would you admit poor planning and judgement in the "revolution"? These criminals who made up the leadership of the USC today betrayed the very people who supported them. So were they in better hands under the leadership of these lunatics than under MSB? As someone mentioned before, when speaking of a revolution, that revolution has to bring about a drastic change in the given situation. In the nostalgic context you speak of it, it has to make the situation even better.

Lugh,

The 1991 Revolution was a natural occurance. Mogadishu masses had it enough and stood up, the rest is history.

In 1991 the institutionalization of the Revolution and it's implications have been postponed by the lack of shrewd politicians that could have accomplished this task. The events that followed after 1991 have temporarily overshadowed the Barre legacy and some ignorant Somalis are even entertaining themselves that Barre's opressive rule was better than the anarchy.

Instead of shrewd statemen people were stuck between yalaxow/caato/abdiqassim/dheere etc. Nothing captures this problem better than al-Awdi's pre-Islamic poet: "There is no benefit to a leaderless society when disorder reigns, and they will never have leaders if the ignorant among them rule"

Ofourse, we are confident that these ignorant were kept alive this long by internal as wel as external enemies (Tigre regime). The current Tigre puppet government is still composed of these ignorant people. I guess Addis Abbeba regime fully understands the meaning of Al Awdi's saying Laughing

But make no mistake people,

The proces of institutionalization of 1991 Revolution may be postponed in the past history but it will happen in the near future, that I can guarantee.

Young Hawiyes with the required skills will make sure they accomplish this great task.

Well Somaliweyn, by rightfully distancing yourself from the nacas ideology of the USC leadership, and not believing in a chaotic takeover, but rather a smooth one, with shrewd Mulodud politicians who would make a clean transition into power is something to be commended. Perhaps you could share some of your clout with the all your senseless tribesmen on this forum? Also on another topic I'd like to debate with you is, on your premise that the entire Marehans were living like Rockerfellers, and usurping State recourses for their use, as this simply wasn't true.Let me know when your ready.
