I went to a Somali restaurant and ordered suqaar. So the waiter taking my order asked me "would you like sabaayad or canjeero with that". I wasand said I dont want canjeero, thinking it was ethiopian canjeero, or this sabaayad thing your talking abou; have you not got laxoox ? He was like what is laxoox
As the altercation continued with niether of us understanding the other he kept repeating we have sabaayad or canjeero ... as if i would understand and I wanted neither. I went back to the table and told my family member they have no laxoox or kimis, wth is sabaayad or they have ethiopian canjeero. My family member from the south had to translate, they brought us canjeero akak laxoox and kimis aka sabaayad
laxoox, malawax/mucbeel, sabaayad/kimis then there is proper bread now available at the local bakery (buns, french bread but for some reason not sliced breadgreenday wrote:No its not ceyriin, infact its not even made in the same way as canjeero.
