Real-Politiks is not for the faint-hearted,marehan of today are being ruduced to the level of pawns in a conflicting clan interests.In any future clan game,Hawiye will use them as pawns to further our clan interests in a region (jubbas) which marehan have no historical and legal claim let alone population wise presence.I forsee a future in which their degaans will fall under baidoa sphere of influence or being oromized.

Any Somali political strategist who looks into the somali map will understand this.

As we speak,Gedo is the least developed region of all somalia and yet they entertain the idea of genocide and ethnic cleaning against their absame kinsmen who are being subjected to serfdom in Ethiopia.
