Now who's got a problem with that statement ?
Nobleman you're dissapointing me but since you're a cousin , I will also give you the benefit of the doubt
grandpakhalif wrote:The difference between Advo and the rest is that he doesn't try to change the deen in order to suit his lifestyle.
The former admits he is sinful as we all are and the latter deny and even attempt to accommodate islam according to their lifestyle.

Check out this topic where you were celebrating the fatwa that called for the banning of niqaab.Enlightened~Sista wrote:Advo lying yet again, xareef buuba ku noqday.
I have never said Hijab is from Arab culture. He is lying 100%.

You got a point though,if she's denying the accusations,I don't see how people can pursue it If she was saying "Yes I'm all those thing so what!"it would be a different matter

Advo wrote:I am not a hypocrite nor am I a shiek, so this "holier than thou" is something I have never titled myself and is purely figment of ur imagination. I have time and time stated that I do commit sins and I know I am wrong but unlike these people I WILL NEVER JUSTIFY MY ACTIONS USING THE DEEN. My problem with many people here is that somehow they convinced themselves what they're doing is perfectly acceptable in the eyes of god. I view ISLAM as pure, something that has been unchanged since first day and I take it very personal when people like Yalaxow and enlightensister to name a few try to "Modernize" our religion saying certain issues are out dated or 7th century, regardless of how I conduct myself. Do what you are gonna do but don't pull out hadith and ayats trying to personally interpret to fit ur needs, going against something that has been established.
The hijaab comment is out of context, I am not calling her out nor advising her for not wearing it but the fact that she believes it's arab culture and not the deen (Justifying actions using the deen)
Yalaxow says alcohol is permitted (Justifying actions using the deen)
And so many other ludicrous statements.......(Justifying actions using the deen)
You see where I am going with this? if I see some guys/girls wearing Islamic garment and buying liqueur, I would advise them to take it off before making the purchase to preserve the image of the deen, I would not pull out a xadiith or start lecturing them on their agenda (buying alcohol), again just protecting the image (the Islamic garment).
You are confusing two things here, that I have a problem with their actions (false) or I have a problem with them including the deen (true).

While I'm far from the perfect Muslim, I'm constantly amazed by folks who try to make Xalal that which Allah has made Xaram, which is pretty much Kufr if I recall correctly from the limited religious instruction I received.
I might be a weed smoking, Johnnie walker drinking socialist, but I'm not going to say the Qur'an or Hadith is ambiguous when it comes to the permissibility of drinking and smoking, but neither am I going to try to preach to you about your sinful lifestyle. Live and let live and all that shit, but Xaram is Xaram and Xalal is Xalal. Islam isn't an a la carte religion where you can pick and choose what practices and beliefs you subscribe to. What I'm trying to get at is that I'm a terrible sinner, as are you all. Trying to justify yourself by twisting and revising verses or hadiiths is a rather pointless copout.
