Jasmine. The only two things that are kinda bothering me about this is:

1) Every couple that has been married for a few years somehow thinks that qualifies them as absolute marriage experts, and that they have all the nuggets of the wisdom in the world to 'stay married'. I think thats bullshid. A lot of times its a feeling out process and a learning process that the couples who are serious bout staying married undergo and it could be different things not just chores. Now every bozo who reads this thinks that if You give Your wife a creepy smile and offer to do the dishes You will 'stay married'

Oh, so Your premise was is love action or words? Yea in that case I def agree. Afterall we all know talk is cheap, eventually You have to step up and back up Your words.
