Robecci even traveled to Jigjiga and Djibouti. He also did see the Isaaq.
This is a map he drew of British Somaliland

He could have heard anything from the many Isaaq villages he traveled through and probably where he picked up those names.

In his book he says the best of the somali poets he heared it between the country of the mareexaan and ogaden. Its obvious he interviewed these clans. So why even negate what the man himself had said. The`Republic wrote:Xplaya-

Andrezejewski and IM Lewis, not Galaal. Galaal was a source.X.Playa wrote: The Republic what Goosh and Galaal book that you claim they used shirs script, i dont recall either of these men writing a book of somali poetry using somali script unless you meant the paper on Guba titled somali poetic combat. And the somali script on that paper its far different then the modern script which adds more evidenced against your case if indeed they used shires script.

You posted one source in modern times, a woman by name of Sheila Andrezejewski who had nothing to do with your interpretation. Seemeyer also brought a link about the COMMITTEE heads, nothing to do with the men who were the result of the scripts they evaluated. Samatar also brought a link from a modern interview with Kadarre, a man who had his own unimportant script going on.
I posted UNESCO from 1966 in an article co-authored by Andrezejewski saying Shire is best of all these scripts including Muuse Galaa.
I posted a book on Somali literature from Andrezejewski and IM Lewis of British Somaliland in 1963 who said they Shire Jama for best form in writing the Somali part.
I posted his magazine in 1967 that was the only Somali magazine in print.
I also posted Prof Hussein Tanzania (Isaaq) who said Muuse Galaa threw his lost in with Shire Jama's script.
I also posted a modern Somali book order site that has at it's front page Shire Jama as father of Somali script.
You Isaaq boys went from saying Muuse Galaal is father of the script to Shire Jama might have been primary but he bounced from considerable collaboration.
So what, why couldn't Muuse Galaal couldn't be the base? The UNESCO article from 1966 COMPARES SHIRE JAMA TO EVERYONE including Muuse Galaal and says explicitly the recommendation is that Shire Jama is the foundation.
In 1972, the Somali language commission heeded that recommendation among many others and explicitly endorsed SHIRE JAMA AS THE FOUNDATION for Somali language.
Whether it was tweaked and added to, it doesn't matter in this case.
He is the foundation, the rock and the tier, therefore he is the father of the Somali script. End of story.

Shire Jama has much more to his history has being thr father of the Somali script. He wrote the first Somali language novel, he wrote the first English-Somali dictionary printed by Columbia University in US, he published the first Somali magazine Iftinka Aqponta and he was the first President of the Somali Academy of Arts.
Like his other Sade brothers like Dr Mohamed Adan Sheikh (first Somali qualified surgeon), Dr Lawaaxe (cited by evem Caydiid as first Somali to graduate from Western 4 year university, Cali Mataan Hashi first Somali to fly a jet, and Dalays, first Somali woman to break gender norms and sing publicly, along with Siyaad Barre longest leading Somali leader in history and it's most powerful, not to mention even as far as Nur Mujahid who built the walls of Harar.
This is pure recorded history.
