There is something I actually wanted to discuss with you. My friend told me a while back that Kalenjiins were getting speacial treatment back home to the point of others having to pay twice the bus fare that Kale's did. Have you noticed such a thing?

Just the system she said, like even when looking for a job it would somehow come into play. I was really surprised by this because this was after Moi sikumbuki hearing this stuff when he was president so hearing this now is shocking.

Mind you this was in Eldoret, I know people in Nai are chilled out about that kind of stuff.

i think you are mixing things up. as you know the system is now controlled by Kikuyu and mt.Kenya people, if it is in eldoret obviously kalenjins are the majority and any jobs will be biased towards them, but being charged cheaper for transport nowhere in the world,as for the government jobs obviously Kikuyu and GEMA will be favored. tribalism is everywhere in kenya.

Really? Maybe it is because I left when I was young and had a very pure/romantic image of Kenya growing up. I never would have imagined that there was any sort of tribalism. Apart from those Kikuyu gangs that cover their hair with a white cloth, can't remember what they were called.

Btw, the fare thing is legit, she wouldnt make up stuff for the sake of it.

it simple, if she is Somali and she looked new she was just cheated, Kenyans touts are notorious of exploiting people, if she did not know the fare she could have been overcharge easily, and Kenya BV as always had tribalism there is nothing new with that and it wont change, we suffered under Moi regime and our payback time is now.

Nah she is Kenyan a Kalenjin infact

So as a Meru you are obviously on the Kikuyu side is that it? SMH this is not good. I remember when there was a bit of violence because of the elections how the newpapers and TV stations and everyone came together to speak against the violence and the breaking up into tribal lines. That is the Kenya I grew up in. I think you have been corrupted by spending too much time with your Somali brethren.
